I don't feel like working today, I am stressed, and I have a stomach ache, so girlies who are on here already - let's chat!!!
I'll start - I came home from work yesterday to find a massive box full of lace teddies, edible body icing, lube, and stockings. Yay for my first bachelorette party gift!!! If only we weren't on an "ahem" break and I could test some of it out!
Re: Friday Chat Thread
Butterfly.. That stuff sounds fun.. to bad about the Break hahah
The package was from one of my out of town bridesmaids who can't come to the bachelorette
hahahaha Colleen great minds think alike!!!
I really don't want to be at work either today, today is another day of 90+ and I am stuck again under florescent lights instead of being on the beach!
I told my FI about you girls' plans for this aheming break, and he actually wanted us to do it, too! I finally said okay when we hit the one month mark, but then we gave in literally the next day. We are terrible, weak ppl lol.

My FI would have laughed at me if I asked him to do this!
bells sneak out of work and go to the beach girl!!!
Colleen - we are renting out a pole dancing studio and getting a 2 hour private lesson!! then we have a bunch of hotel rooms at a fancy hotel downtown where we are doing presents and games and pre-drinking, then dinner at a Mexican fusion restaurant, and then out dancing!! I am so excited, 15 of my bffs are coming!! Kinda bummed that only 2 of my 5 BMs will be there, but oh well, when only 2 of your BMs are in town, that's what hapens!

I thought he would, too, that's why I even mentioned it!

Mine too! It just all sounds so silly and torturous for no reason to us. We already know what it will be like so we don't see the point.
Nati-That really stinks. Hopefully your friends will think about waht you like and not what they like to do!
Lol anyways I'm worried about the girls planning this supposed bach party for me. They're into strippers and crap. Yuck!
Posted by Nati05
Whoa, I read that too quickly and thought you said "strippers and crack" and got very scared for you, lol.

bahahahahaha!
speaking of strippers, k8888, have you had your bach yet?!? I can't remember, I feel like you haven't, because surely we would have seen pictures of your stripper if you had!!
Unfortunately not very likely Colleen, they're all single and rather desperate lol. You know what one of them said?? "The strippers aren't for you, they're for us!!!" Even FSIL backed them up saying bach parties aren't really for the brides but for their single friends. I wanted to slap them both. If that's the case they should hire tons of strippers for themselves and keep me out of it. Seriously the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If I were planning your bday party for example, I'm not going to do something you hate because everyone else invited likes it!! Dumbest reasoning I've ever heard.
I am just imaging myself being completely shattered by the time we finally finish partying and make it back to the hotel. I feel like there a big expectations for brides & grooms on their wedding nights, but I think we might be really tired and tipsy and I'm honestly a little worried it will not be exactly "explosive" (as Butterfly puts it haha).
OK while we're on the topic of aheming... is anyone a little worried about being super exhausted for the wedding night? I am not worried about it but I agree that it is VERY likely I will get to our room and pass the F out before we even ahem. But honestly I am not worried about it all. If it doesnt happen it will happen plenty in the weeks to follow
my BFF who got married a few weeks ago said her and her husband hopped in the shower before their wedding night ahem - she said it made them feel less gross (her legs were dripping with sweat all day from her massively hot wedding dress) and it woke them up enough to be able to have some aheming fun. I am thinking we might have to copy her idea!!

huh?? i agree, that is horrible logic. I think that is somewhat true for a lot for bachelor parties, but bachelorettes should be all about making sure the bride has an amazing time with her best friends.
Fiance and I got an early wedding present yesterday from our Best Man!!

Both my FH and I are into shooting so this gift is by far the best - & neither of us were expecting it which made it 10X better.
We were laying out by the pool and his BM showed up with this gun, which he just bought, and the FH fell in love with it. BM brought it over to me and switched the larger hand grip out for the smaller hand grip and it fit my hand perfect. He asked if we liked it and we both said YES at the same time & with that he said "Good because I bought it for yous for your wedding gift"

FI and I are not crazy drinkers so we think we will be okay on that front.
We are worried about being too tired and if we are, then that's okay too. I think that if you put too much pressure on it, you'll end up getting let down. We won't be seeing each other for 2 nights before the wedding so hopefully that will be enough of a build up.
If you do end up being too tired, just wake him up in the morning and get things started!
My party is July 13-15 so not yet! My last trainer session was yesterday so we're all squared away with our plans. He may be more excited for it than we are hahaha. He's not getting totally naked but he's an amazing dancer and he's going to toss my friends around a bit. He may even come out bar hopping with us after so we can be his "wingmen." He said he's retiring as an exotic dancer at the end of this summer, so I'll probably be his last private performance.
I have a feeling some of you think I'm a total creep... and you're right hahaha.
butterfly - your party sounds AWESOME
