I'm jealous of DH for having a lifelong friend - it's something I always wanted but could never have because of how much we moved around when I was younger.

I really, really dislike FBIL. I've tried focusing on the good things about him, but now I'm pretty sure they don't exist. He's a giant douche. It bothers FI that I don't like him.

I confess that I'm kinda bummed FI isn't going out with his buddies tonight because I look forward to having quiet time to myself on Friday nights.

I confess that if one more person calls me to ask me about wedding stuff, I might have to throatpunch them. It's nine months away peeps - go bug my sister, she's down to three months. Thanks.

I confess that I reaaaaaaaaaally want to spend the entire weekend getting caught up on everything, but the thought of all that work makes me exhausted.

I confess I really wish FI would skip his family reunion this weekend and stay in Boston with me. He lives an hour away right now and I really miss him. But I don't have it in me to bug him to stay.

I confess that while I like having a steady paycheck, I really hate my job and I want to quit. They don't mistreat me too badly, but its just boring and draining.

I confess that I plan on paying FSIL to mow our grass once we get a house and FI is OOT. She's young and thinks it fun still...silly girl.

The only time I ever mowed lawn was when I was about 13. We had a riding mower so it was just like I was driving a car (in cirles and on grass, of course)

Ricky- I know you're in a different department and things are probably a little different, but FI said that the exams weren't nearly as bad as he thought they would be and that it's really impossible to be prepared for them because the topic is so broad. So don't feel bad about being unprepared (which I'm sure you really aren't).

I confess I'm more happy to be spending time at home than I am sad about spending time away from FI.

I also confess that I was surprised to find out that FI is actually disappointed I'll be away for so long. I really thought he was sick of me by now.

I confess I also hate my job and am ready to quit - again. They continually schedule me outside my availability and when I confronted my boss about it she basically said 'Sorry you're SOL - we're going to do whatever we want and you just have to like it' I really want to be a SAHW but I feel bad not contributing financially and don't want to put all the burden on DH

Ricky, your feelings are completely normal. Don't worry... you'll be fine. Just start studying for little chunks at a time. It'll get easier!

I confess that I'm terrified of not finding a job. After being stuck in grad school for so long in an academic program, I feel qualified for nothing. I really, really, really need a job for our lives to move forward. I've been sleeping terribly this week because I'm so anxious about it.

Edit: I also confess that I've spent so much time editing my resume and writing cover letters, that I've done jack shiit for my thesis this week. Not good.

I confess that I am about 99% sure that I will convert to Catholicism after having talked it over with my family, a friend who recently converted and doing countless hours of research on my own. I dont' want to jump the gun adn tell BF until I go to mass again with him and meet his the new preist at his family's church though, just to be sure.

I REALLY wish I would have taken today off. BF is off and went golfing this morning and I'm jelaous! I could have spent the day hanging with the little guy but here I am counting down the hours till it's time to go home.

*whispers* I think that BF may propose sooner than expected... lately he's been talking about marriage, wedding, rings, taking his name and things a lot and he has this I'm up to something grin on his face. He's also taken more than a couple calls in private this last week or so which he usually does not do. I have no reason to think that he would based on our previous talks and him starting to work 2 part-time jobs this month instead of his better paying full time job, but for some reason I have a feeling he's up to something. My birthday is next week though so maybe it's just something for that... which is more likely.

Me too! Except the thesis writing part. Every time I apply for a job I feel like a fool for being 25 with no actual job experience.

I also confess that now that I know it's getting closer, I'm getting really nervous about BF proposing. Not getting engaged, not getting married, but the actual proposal. I'm kind of really shy and I'm pretty sure he wants to do it in public. I know I'll say yes, of course, but for some reason I'm still terrified of how I'll react. Is that bad?

I'm nervous about finding a job too, even though I can't get one until after the fall semester. I had to leave my job for medical reasons and once classes start up again, I'll be going 5 days a week AND physical therapy, so a job is really out of the question for me. Also, it's tough to get a job without a degree and internships usually pay nothing.

Girls! Mowing the lawn is fun! I love the time to myself to listen to my iPod.

I confess that my iPod has several hours of music but far more hours of audiobooks. I hardly ever listen to the music. I LOVE to listen to audiobooks.

Me too, Ana, only add 2 years. I feel like no one is going to want to hire a 27 year old for an entry level position. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Edit: It does not help that everytime I open my homepage, I see some headline about lost jobs and how the economic recovery is slowing down again.

I wasn't allowed to mow with my portable *cd player* because my mom thought I wouldn't hear *something* catch under the mower, fall off the mower, and die.

FMIL sent me this picture of FFIL mowing last week with "iTouch" and cigar on hand. I think he enjoys mowing the lawn too.
