Drinking a gin & Diet 7up, lamenting that I had to work late & miss bar trivia. Anyone around? I can't be the only person enjoying an adult beverage on a Tuesday...
Unless Tuesday is not the designated night for KUI (cf. the recent Mean Girls running joke: "We wear pink on Wednesdays"), in which case, feel free to correct my course and/or call me a drunk.

You can do it, Beth!

Tyler's shaving off his playoff beard tonight and trimming his facial hair into a Tony Stark. I have never been so turned on it my life.

<div>Second that! Good luck! Just think, you're already almost 1/3 of the way through the month! If you can do this two more times, you're golden. :)</div><div>
</div><div>audrewuh, my day was fine. Lots of running around for work. I got to go to my favorite town to cover (I'm a newspaper reporter) & hang out with a crazy historian who was helping me track some stuff down, but I also had to go to a school board meeting for work tonight (with another tomorrow). But it was gorgeous here, so that's a plus.</div><div>
</div><div>And your day, ladies?</div>

And Tyler's doing this for me. I have a massive ladyboner for Robert Downey, Jr. and am horribly obsessed with Iron Man, as is shown in the photograph below:

<div>Sweet! Talking with a historian must be interesting.</div><div>
</div><div>I finally tracked down the guy I'm working with on a mission trip this summer. We're exactly 60 days out and I hadn't heard from anyone. I was starting to get really pissed. </div><div>
</div><div>Side note, my cat was trying to lick herself and fell off the bed. </div><div>
</div><div>Still, that picture makes me laugh every time!! </div>

As for my day it was pretty boring. I had work, then the gym, then the store for groceries, then finishing an application for a research assistant position and now I'm watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and looking up cupcake recipes.
I'm also trying to come up with a list of books to read this summer, so if anyone has some suggestions I welcome them!

[QUOTE]Aw! You will do fine. Once you get there & get into the thick of what you're doing, I bet it won't be nearly so scary. Beth: Book suggestions? If you haven't read The Hunger Games books yet, DOOOOO EEEEEEEEEEEET. And then in week 2 of summer, you can start on other stuff. ;) I read Tom Perrotta's The Leftovers this winter -- very good book imagining people trying to get on with their lives after the Rapture.

I have read The Hunger Games. I loved them :) The Leftovers sounds interesting, I might have to check those out.

I'm trying not to judge but....ok.
[QUOTE]I'm not KUI, but I feel like I should be while watching this show about a couple who 'raises" dolls like they're real children. I'm trying not to judge but....ok.

I saw something on people who did that once. It seemed really crazy. I mean I guess you can do whatever floats your boat but I don't know why you would choose raising dolls as a hobby (is it a hobby?).

I thought it was a hobby until she took her 5 year old doll to the shoe store to have her measured for $70 heels.
My wedding shoes didn't even cost $70.

Why on earth does a doll need $70 shoes?

I couldn't tell if the woman wanted to take her out to get shoes because she didn't have any, or if she needed to get shoes so she could take her out.
And now I'm wondering why I'm watching this. But, the only thing else on tv that I'd watch is Investigation Discovery, and FI is at work, and I get too scared watching murder mystery shows while I'm alone.

Haha...there are so many shows that I watch where half way through I wonder why I am watching them.
I shouldn't watch shows about murder when I'm by myself, but I do. Then I get freaked out and paranoid.

Since I literally have no shame I will admit this- FI lives in a smaller apartment and I will check under every bed and in every closet before I go to bed. If I don't, I'll hear noises when I try to sleep, and be pissed I didn't check. I've never once heard our lab bark, so he is no help. If someone broke in, he'd snore right through it.
But, I'm not scared of some guy breaking in. I'm scared of the Jeepers Creepers guy, and the girl from the Ring. But, I swear I'm 25, not 13.
