    Morning!

    I was all kinds of running late for work today. FI was out of town last night so it was just me and the dog overnight. I guess he was weirded out by FI not being there, because he got me up 3-4 times in the middle of the night. So of course I was all running late this morning because I was tired and stuff and I needed to vote.

    Oh, and apparently Kentucky still votes with pencil. I can't believe it. When I went to take my ballot up, the lady standing next to the ballot taker thing walked away. I was like uhhhhh uhhhhhh and all the little old ladies just sat there and stared at me. Finally I said something like "can someone help me???" because I still have a job I need to get to!

    So yeah, I got into work 25 minutes late. Good thing my boss is even later than me today...



    ETA: I think I would need to bring sunscreen with me.  I seem to be getting pastier as I get older and I burn a lot more now!

    Birdie, I think being late due to voting is a completely excusable offense. I'm pretty sure that's why the "I Voted!" stickers became so popular.

    I'd definitely go for some kind of 2 in 1 body wash/shampoo, cause I can't stand feeling dirty.

    I'm not voting today because I don't know where to go..... seriously.  Our polling place has been different each time since we moved two years ago, and I realized last night they never informed us where to go this time.  Crap.  Well, at least I don't feel strongly about any of our candidates this time around.

    Oh, and we're supposed to move some of our instruments into a new lab today.  Trying not to break millions of dollars worth of equipment while moving it down 4 floors..... awesome.

    I would think they do it the same everywhere in Ohio........we got post cards in the mail yesterday that had the updated address of our voting location.
