I'm sorry you feel the need to say F you to those assholes. I'm not trying to be a brat, promise, I think it sucks you were ripped apart over something pretty petty and dumb and feel the need to come back at them.

But I maintain my point. You may not have meant it to be snotty, but it's kind of like the point I was trying to make in my post in the I think it's a girl thread. What your words mean depend mostly on how they're perceived. But I'm clearly in the minority, so I'll shut up now.

You don't have to shut up at all! I'm a confrontational person so for me I was so excited once the shoes finally came in (waiting since freakin April). I can see where it comes across as snotty....but the people here who regularly interact with me know that's not how I mean it at all. I could care less what shoes people wear.....I mean I love when people wear stunning, amazing shoes so I can drool, but its not a brand/money thing. For me its a fashion thing.

This is a little ridiculous. In the post you quoted, she said it was a joke for people who were around during the callout hysteria when she was getting bashed about name brand stuff. So it's not quite the same as the hair example. I think you just jumped in here to flame someone.

FWIW, had you said "I find your sig condescending or obnoxious", then I would say that's a flame. But I read this as, 'hey! Let me flame you to participate because you just said something about diamond hair."

Blue, if you read my post, I stated I wasn't HERE yesterday to take issue with it then. It was debated much more than I wanted it to be. My original intent was to clear the issues I had with 3 posters in the thread, and state what the story was ACTUALLY about.

I didn't bring up the BSA again, but my name was brought up in reference to it a day later.

And really a bunch of guys in shorts with hankercheifs around their necks? How can they NOT allow the gays to join.
