I have only read the OP so I may edit later to add.

I would leave my FI if he went to a strip club or had anything to do with a stripper.

If he wanted to celebrate his last night of "freedom" he should have done that before we were dating. My FI hasn't been single since we have been a couple, a serious relationship is not single.

I don't know why lots of men do it but I know that some women are ok with it. I don't understand why they are ok but it's none of my business.

My FI agrees with me so I am lucky. He understands my feelings and agrees that it's offensive to your partner to have another person dancing around nude, possibly touching you and trying to turn you on.

Few people I know have had strippers at their bachelor party so maybe a lot depends on who the guy is or who the friends are. Most guys I know had card games, went to horse racing or shooting ranges.

EDIT Trust, security and the like have nothing to do with why some women do not like strip clubs. I appreciate that some women are fine with strip clubs but don't say it's because you trust your FI/husband/boyfriend. I also trust my FI and I still don't agree with strip clubs.

Nothing can make someone cheat. Perhaps temptation will be greater around naked women dancing in front of you but it woudln't make a man who was unwilling to cheat suddenly want to cheat. A guy who is going to cheat is going to cheat. A strip club might give him opportunity but the grocery store or gas station might as well.

Same goes for women because there are many many women going to strip clubs now as well.

Meh I am not worried about strippers. Nor do I think he would do something like get a blow job from a stripper. He brother is a total diick and would try something like that, but I figure FI will just get super drunk and pass out... like he usually does when he decides to party.

I was stating that strip clubs for bachelor parties is traditional in many places and separately I was saying that at least those women were able to weed out their cheating FIs before marriage. So if they somehow managed to not cheat at their strip club bachelor party then they'd never cheat? I'm sorry, but if you have to 'test' your FI with seeing if he won't cheat at a strip club, then you have much bigger problems.

In those situations it did for the... My god I was just joking when I said at least it helped them weed out their cheating FIs, I was kidding and trying to lighten the mood. But again its taken wrong. The ladies through this thread had said those women were lucky to have found out about their cheating FIs before the wedding, so I joked that at least the strip club helped them weed out their cheaters... Nevermind, I think I give up.
