GGirl-- I know what you mean, but once I graduate, I will not miss it, I don't think When I graduate I will have been in school for 20 years straight (from kindergarten on). Yuck.
I thought I wouldn't miss it either after I got my Masters. Then I realized I had way too much free time that I didn't know what to do with. I was used to working full time, school full time, and doing internships throughout all of college.
That is a shame, especially since I only lived 3 hrs from Pittsburgh too (I'm from Buffalo). we just missed each other!
ggirl-- Yeah, I know that I will probably twiddle my thumbs a little in my free time this summer after work. I have a feeling the free time will be limited once I start in my field though, it isn't known for having a lot of luxury time, lol.
When you're ready to hit up the beach, I'd just as soon drive over to HH than go to Hunting Island if I were you. Hunting Island might be a little closer for you, but there is little else there except the beach & the lighthouse.
Musical, when I graduated from nursing school, I was really sad for a long time. I basically worked full time and went to school full time for 5.5 years and then all of a sudden school was over. I was pretty bad for a long time.

Panther-thats how I felt. My FI and I were making jokes about how I was going to drive him crazy when I had all this free time on my hands. I found myself researching classes to take, considering second jobs, etc.
Fan-I love HHI. My parents and I just stayed there. The drive to the beach is only like 40 minutes for me which is nothing. I used to drive that at home to get to the beach anyway.
I can't remember if it's Tuesday or Wednesday nights, but during the summer there are fireworks on HHI every week. All this talk makes me miss living there!
I was getting my car registered and the girl was like why would you move here. I answered with, well, I really hate brushing snow off my car 4x a day haha.
I worked at Target for two years and I'm really considering going back once I get settled in this nursing job. I'm also considering going back to school in the Fall. Cray cray, party of one.

I hated brushing snow off my car. I mean I would actually get angry in the morning haha. I would use my car starter but it wouldn't get everything off. I am now using my car starter for the AC so the leather doesn't burn me.
Well most people who move to the area usually end up in Bluffton or Hilton Head unless they're military as in your case. I liked it and would move back if the job situation were right, but I would never work for the school district again under the current regime.
Re: Dear TK IT
Musical- I kind of miss studying for something though at the same time. I miss school at times
I just moved back to PA from there in September. If only you'd moved sooner!

Musical-whats your degree in?

So school district not good? Good thing I don't use my teaching degree then. Although I still consider sometimes being a school counselor.
