I'm annoyed my parents made me cancel my florist!! Luckily I didn't put money down yet, but they called the guy who did my sister's wedding and booked him while he's on a trip to INDIA!!! I can't meet with him until next month! It's not really that big of a deal, but they want to add all this extra stuff which raises the budget and we have to pay for. Guess all the money I saved on other stuff will go to this now.

I had to work this weekend :-( Which wouldn't of been so bad, but when I came in it was just one problem after another! And to make matters worse, the internet was down. How can I work without the internet?? :-(

But my weekend was better because FI and I went out to dinner last night :-) And he bought me flowers for Valentine's Day. He NEVER buys me flowers, so this was big for him!

I told my FI this morning, please no flowers! I am just not into them and they always die on me. I met with my cousin who is my DJ this weekend to talk about the music a little bit. It was good until he didn't take it very serious. I guess because we are family but still. I hope he shapes up because we really wanted to hire a DJ but he insisted he gift us with this service. I was fine with a ipod set up.

I really wish DH was better at communicating. He always thinks he tells me things but he never does and then it ends up being a big deal down the road. The newest one that is really bugging me right now, he is going to Vegas in July for fraternity stuff. I knew this and for the last 3-4 months he has said it is the weekend of the 23rd. So I put it on the schedule and that is when he is going to Vegas. My mom wanted to plan a end of summer trip again (we go every year) and asked if we were free the weekend of July 29th. I asked DH and he said we are free so I said yes to my mom and we have DH's daughter so it works out perfect. She went this weekend and found a big rental house for all of us to stay at together. Well she sends an email out today with all the info and DH starts flipping out on me because that is the same weekend he is going to Vegas. I said no he is going to Vegas the weekend before. He said no on Jan 3rd I told you when the Vegas trip was. I said if you told me why is it still on the calendar as teh 23rd and why when I asked you Jan 8th did you tell me we were free July 29th?
(Sorry that turned into a rant!)

Just super annoyed that it's now my fault that he doesn't communicate or plan anything more than a week in advance unless it's fraternity. Guess now it will be me and step daughter going on the family trip and him going to Vegas. Just wish he would communicate better with me about everything!

I got up early to make DH Cinnamon Roll French Toast and it wasn't so great. The cinnamon mixture fell through and ended up burning. So not worth getting up early for. Also, I knew I would not last until lunch with this on my stomach but I still forgot my snack.

Brianna -- Apparently it's a friend hook up thing and they set it all up! Pretty much it's not worth the battle. Pick your fights, right?

Also, I am so annoyed with my sponsor couple. I was fine with the rescheduling of TWO appointments in December because it was for valid reasons. Just plain forgetting about it Saturday is not an excuse! I was super pissed FI and I sat in his car for an hour outside their house waiting on them. Then went to an early dinner near their house so if they called we could go back. They emailed me later yesterday saying they forgot because since she's at home with the baby she doesn't check her daily calendar. Now we have to make up this session! It's just annoying.

I was in the middle of going over answers on a worksheet we did last Friday. Like actually giving them answers and telling them why this answer was correct as opposed to what they wrote and a student decided that was the perfect time to go to the restroom. At this campus, they have to write the passes in the students' planners. That means that he had to dig for his planner, find the right date, write down "bathroom" and come an interrupt me. I told him no that now was not an appropriate time. I then continued to prove my point and asked him if it was okay for me to answer my phone the next time he comes to ask me a question.

My parents have been great through this whole planning process. Up until about 2 months ago. I guess it started when I told them how much it was to rent suits, and they weren't happy with it. I'm sorry, but what do you want me to do about it?!Now, they ask me questions about the wedding, then cut me off mid-answer to shoot tons of judgement at me at for our plans. I'm thisclose to not going to their house anymore unless absolutely necessary. I'm crazy thrilled to be marrying FI, and absolutely excited for our wedding...but I am REALLY excited for it to be over so I don't have to put up with people's sh!t anymore.

I have also gained some weight, which is really disappointing bc I was doing SO good. Ugh.

Ben and I went and looked at houses yesterday, mainly for fun but also to get an idea of what is available in the area we want to live in. And now I really want to move, whereas I didn't so much before.

**Side note--one of the houses we looked at had an old Knottie's wedding pictures hanging on the wall.

This was me the other day but with cars. They gave me a brand new one to drive while they were fixing my air conditioner. I didn't want to take it back. However, I do think I'm over it now.

I don't know where the wires were mixed up, but I have been getting alot of junk snail mail about information on "my" new baby. I received telemarketing calls about signing up for different services or offering products. I'm on the DNC list and I don't have a baby. It's been going on for about 3 months...I don't get it

We got married almost two years ago and David's Bridal is now emailing me constantly about my upcoming wedding. And Bill got something about life insurance for our children the other day. It came in a pretty pink envelope.
