    Yeah, I actually did allow myself to entertain this idea.  It was an enjoyable couple minutes, but I know it's just fantasy.

    Plus, if that <em>were</em> to be the case, well, that's just plain mean.

    Awww I'm so sorry.  :(  In some ways I don't want to have the parties because I'm similarly afraid of people not being able to come or not showing up.  :(  It's actually nice to know that there are other women out there who have the same experiences and fears.

    GOOD LUCK- enjoy the people who are there with you and able to celebrate.  Everyone is so BUSY all the time doing God-knows-what, that we all sometimes miss the things that really matter.

    *hugs* for you, Elle.

    My grandmother threw my Bridal Shower. She sent out 20 invitations. Only 3 people showed up: my maid of honor and 2 relatives (one of which showed up an hour late).
