the food stamps reminded me....

I remember going with my mom to cash in S&H green stamps. She bought a toaster oven and pots and pans with those things.
ETA: I used to love grocery shopping with her because she would let me lick and stick them to fill up the books.

I LOVED tomagotchis (sp)! And I totally forgot about those shirt holders!

These all made me crack up and sooo brought me back...my aunt perming my hair, Lisa Frank school supplies, building forts in my basement (usually with chairs and pillows, but my dad once brought home these HUMONGOUS pieces of cardboard (literally about 8-9 feet tall) and we connected them all together, cut out a door, windows, etc. It was AWESOME!

When I didn't have to shave my legs! I remember I wanted to in about 4th grade, but my mom told me I didn't need to yet.

TGIF - I remember my 6th grade "boyfriend" wanted me to go to this club (at an elementary school) with him one Friday, but I told him I HAD to watch TGIF. HA!

Speaking of TGIF - BOY MEETS WORLD! Does anyone else have the moment Topanga proposed to Cory stuck in their head? I can still picture how he didn't give her an anwer, it was the season finale, and I was SOOO MAD I had to wait for the answer!

Aw, B.U.M.! We didn't really have money, and I went to a middle school that a really wealthy elementary school fed into. I wanted Mossino, Stussy, Banana, anything to fit in. My mom bought me a bright pink B.U.M. shirt and short set and I thought I was hot shiit. I hate that that stuff ever mattered to me
