My H was making fun of me, saying if we ever build a house I need a whole room for my puzzles and a team of people to sort them, because I sort all the pieces (first by edges and non edges, then I sort them by color or what they're part of), spread the groups all the fuuuck over the place, and then I sort my groups into smaller groups (like all parts of the roof, all windows, etc, of the same building) and then pick one group to put on my smaller table, sort those all in the right direction, etc. It's a process, and it takes up a ton of space. He watched me with wonder one night for about 45 minuntes.
LaBella-- That puzzle sounds awful. J-- I sort a lot, but not nearly as much as you do. That sounds like way more work than I'm willing to put into something that's supposed to be fun.

I enjoy the sorting. It's relaxing for me. I'm weird like that.

I am impressed. That is some dedication to your puzzle organization. I'm more like "fuuuck it, I'm going to try every piece even if it doesn't appear to fit." Much like a 2 year old.

• Apparently not, Loops! I feel like we could do puzzles together ;)

See, the nice thing about sorting that much is that I can then look over my pieces and just pick them up and put them together without having to try them in a bunch of places. It helps make it obvious where they fit. H called me a puzzle savant because he didn't see all the work that went into the sorting, he just saw me picking up pieces and sticking them in places over and over without getting anything "wrong."

• Now do you have problems with people helping you with your puzzles? I'm weirdly possessive about them. I have no problem with my mom helping because she knows the puzzle etiquette--keeping like pieces together, not laying pieces on top of other pieces, etc. DH bugs me to try to do puzzles with because he puts pieces all willy nilly.

And God help anyone who tries to help me with a crossword puzzle because I will cutabitch.

• Oh, yes. My puzzles are MINE. H tried to reach for a piece and I batted his hand away.

I just asked him. He said "what?" and I repeated it, and he said "nope!" and went back to TV watching. Seems a little too...perfect.

Actually, I could see him stealing them as a prank. Like stealing them, and then putting some back and taking different ones, etc.

Do people still wear maxi dresses? I want a cute casual dress to wear this summer.

haha I love that you asked him. But it does seem too convenient to blame the cat. DH would probably steal the pieces too just to mess with me. Then place them in the weirdest spots in the house where I would definitely find them. Like my make up bag or the refrigerator.

• I'm about to buy some maxi dresses I think. I see them in a lot of stores still Erin. I'm thinking they'll work for maternity wear for a while around here I hope. With a shawl or jacket in the fall when it cools off. And I may even be able to wear them after too...

I own two maxi dresses. I don't really pay much attention to fashion, though. Who knows if my whole wardrobe is outdated?
• I pay zero attention to what's "in". I just wear what I like. I'll probably be an embarassment to my children.
• I want new clothes! I have to keep talking myself out of it - I still need to thin down my wardrobe for the move.
• Daff, are you still around? If so -- thoughts on Fringe finale?

Oh Eagles, thank you!

So, I'm pretty sure I was just a massive biiitch to my H. Fox got out (again) and ran through the neighborhood. He stopped to sniff some pre-teens and they grabbed his collar for me. He was on a pretty busy street, and I was already crying. Crazy lady party of me. Ugh.

I wish I had more free time. Because cross stitching is like that for me. When I get into a project I want to do nothing else. But it's been several years since I've done it because it becomes all-consuming. Because it's just so relaxing.
You're welcome, Erin! Um, the last time Club slipped out the door and took off, I almost threw up. Luckily a neighbor was out front and called him over, then held him. It was like blind panic took over. Did you H let Fox get out?
Posted by EaglesBride2012
He did, sort of. We don't have a real gate to the fence at our rental place. It's pretty ghetto. We have a wire type fence and we have hook the fence around the pole every time we open/close it. H lets Fox follow him back to the front door without a leash. Fox just didn't follow H. I told H he was a f*cking idiot for not putting Fox on his leash. Nice, I know. It was in the heat of the moment and I've apologized now.

• I'm getting tired as well. TK has eaten the majority of my posts. Goodnight anyone that can actually see this!
• Heeeeey guys. So I just got off from work and the last time I was on things were running a lot smoother. Now every click of a refresh button brings up new posts and deletes others. Alright.

Anyways, I'm about to start cooking the pups' chicken and rice and then my dinner. Hopefully I'll get around to attempting banana nut bread for the first time along with a no bake reese's 'cake' thing from scratch.

• Ugh, TK. To answer from much, much earlier, I read #18. It was a good time. Not as good as the dark chocolate sea salt caramel wedding cupcake and the leftover wedding sparkling wine I drank, but pretty good.

I'd say more things, but I can't follow this thread. fuucckking TK IT monkeys.
• Anyone still around? I just got home from a trip to Raleigh. I stayed later than I wanted and FI left Sasha (our dog with severe separation anxiety) in the spare bedroom. It's destroyed, ugh.
• Hey guys. I'm staying at my mom's tonight and I miss FI like crazy. I'm working on my vows so that's just making it worse.
• Aw Aleigh, when was the last time yall spent the night apart?
