Little bit. I went and laid out on the dock for awhile but I get bored out there by myself. Plus it's so effing hot with no breeze whatsoever. Now I'm watching Hook and working on my book. I can't walk much right now since my foot is still healing so I'm stuck at the house while H works.
At least the cat is keeping me company. He refuses to leave my lap.
Hi guys. I'm caffeined-up. It's hot & humid here and my wedding-day forecast calls for 86 degrees and heavy humidity. Hooray. If the air conditioning gives out, we'll have to kill ourselves.

Our weather forecast said it was going to be 85 and rainy. It was 97 and sunny. So there's hope for it to change Especially around here, OWN, they'll change it 42 times before your wedding. So exciting that it's so close though! Are you all set?
I'm not so much bored but not feeling well. I have to go to Target and do laundry but I don't want to. I am also having my first ever PG scare. Not cool.

I laid out earlier too, but there was a breeze, I just couldn't take it for more than 40 minutes. I take a book and my ipod and I'm all set.
It's supa hot here, and no AC sucks a lot. I mean, we have it, but we have to set it up as it's a portable unit, and that would take more work than we're willing to do right now. hahaah
Kelly, I hope the forecast at least lightens up a little, but we knew what we were doing when we chose a mid-summer wedding. It was the only time of year that really worked for us, so . . . oh well. We're pretty much set, I think - I'm about to go to my office and try to use my work computer to set up a print page for our place cards. We got a kit from Michaels that, allegedly, will print nice neat cards if you just align the words according to their little chart. We'll see.
We talked yesterday with the farmer who will bring our flowers to next Saturday's Farmer's Market for us to pick up. I'm making a pretty huge leap of faith by just putting all the flower choices in their hands, but really - they're fresh flowers; what could go wrong? I have no real color scheme except for my light green dress and I gave them a bow that had been cut from teh dress so they can see the color. They're making my bouquet, my daughter's flower girl bouquet, 3 bouts, and two corsages and then providing as many cut flowers as I can buy for $200. They were thrilled with the order and I think they're going to give us a ton of stems for that price.
Fi is kind of freaking out with nerves and such, but he'll be okay. I can hardly wait - I wish it were tomorrow!
OWN, I can't wait to see pics. You're going to be gorgeous!
And yeah, try to ignore the weather forecast. 7 days out, we were at 68 and sunny...and the day of was 55 and rainy. But it all worked out okay anyway!

Not bored yet, but I did just wake up. We were going to get up and go to chuch, but we decided to snuggle instead. 2 hours later and I'm up. Whoops. I think I'm going to go to the laundrymat and do the sheets and towels later. We're also refinishing our coffee and end tables. Today we'll put 3 layers of clear protective coat on it.

Yeah, Amoro, that's why I need to go to Target. I'm 98% sure I'm fine, but I just made a pretty big BC switch and am having some weird symptoms. I'm guessing it's just side effects from changing over, but I'm still a wee bit worried.

Yeah, pancakes are better than church. I feel super guilty about our church situation. We went looking for a church to get married in since I didn't want to get married in my old church and H hadn't been to his in forever. We visited on Sunday and totaly fell in love with the pastor. We ended up joining because we loved it so much. We also happened to save $500.00. We were going as much as we could, any time I was in town. But then that pastor left and the new one is all fire and brimestoen and we HATE that. So now I feel like we used the church

Yikes. That sucks. I could never join a church that was all fire and brimstone.
We went to this church fairly regularly before the wedding, and really liked it. Then one day the pastor basically made the entire sermon about why we should join the church (not us by name, but pretty directed), comparing it to the difference between being engaged/married. I found that really offputting, because I'm not totally sure I want to join ANY church at this point, and we haven't been back since and we feel kind of bad about it.
And thanks, OWN--I'd honestly be shocked if it was positive, I'm 98% sure this is all paranoia.

No kidding! They were working on completing 8 other wedding cakes that day along with delivery, so we were shocked when they managed to pull it off for us.
I am laying in bed with a book, just woke up. I also intended to go to church, but when the alarm went off, I went right back to sleep. Oops! I slept almost 12 hours though, guess I needed it.
I'm debating getting up to clean though, but so far staying in bed is winning.
