    I'm late to this, but I got our Queen for $900 on sale.  What drove the price of ours up was (according to my chiro) I needed at least 750 coils.  The one I really wanted (900+ coils) was selling for $1500 on sale.  To rich for my blood at the time.

    I thinkthe price depends on what qualities you want in the mattress.
