You and your SO

My SO is awesome because we balance each other. I can get neurotic and anxious, and he's usually cool as a cucumber. He reminds me to relax, I remind him to be serious sometimes. But we have the same values - we don't always agree politically (I'm very left and he's much more moderate) but we try to see the logic in each other's argument. We make each other laugh and have the same ridiculous sense of humor. We will legitmately sit and trade quips with each other from "Family Guy" and the "Chappelle's Show." We're each other's best friend.

My BF and I make an awesome pair because we have so much fun together and I can be completely myself without feeling like he might not accept me, but he always accepts me.

He is so supportive and kind and he can make me feel like I'm going to burst with happiness.

When we do get in little fights and arguments, he will always do the necessary things to make me happy again and work for our relationship. We are able to bounce back from spats and know that we are going to be ok.

He's so thoughtful. He calls me in the early morning and tells me how much he loves me...

He wants to make plans with me, he wants to be with me.

All of the important things that I need in a man, BF is! He makes me so happy and I honestly can't picture myself with anyone else.

OK...I have to stop myself now.

FI is perfect for me because everything just feels so natural and easy with him. I'm completely myself with him, I never feel like I should be, do or like something else. We never fight because we are on the same page about almost everything, from the big stuff like life goals, finances, family and children, etc down to the little stuff like chores, movies, music, etc.

I know they say opposites attract and balances you out, but honestly, we are very similar. We have the same bad habits, which makes it easier to not fight about those little things. We are also both very affectionate, lots of PDA (not in a gross way) and lots of snuggling on the couch while watching tv. We have the same hobbies and genuinely like spending time together, even if it's just grocery shopping.

If I were to ever have made a list of the 'perfect man' for me, that list probably wouldn't even come close to my FI, he's so much more than I ever could have imagined. I know I'm extremely lucky to have him, and what makes it even better, is that he feels the same way about me.

BF is awesome because he knows how to make me laugh/smile when we're aruging, he rubs my tummy when it's not feeling well, he gives the best hugs and he 'gets' me. I really can't say enough aweomse things about him, I am so lucky to have him in my life!

BF is being super sweet recently, and finals time is usually when he turns into a moody troll, so I'm very relieved/happy.

He's fantastic because he supports me unconditionally. He wants what is best for me, not just what is most convenient for him. This is especially true as I start to discuss my ideas for getting an MBA - when talking about which program I want, he's adament that we'll make it work if we have to be apart for awhile. He pushes me in so many ways to be my best.

He's so affectionate and sweet. He's a total cuddlebug, and I love that about him.

We're both very frugal, but are willing to splurge on the same things. We've managed to merge finances incredibly smoothly, and make decisions about big purchases (like trips) rather easily. He loves traveling, is open minded to new cultures, doesn't mind being in a situation where he doesn't speak the language. He's driven and motivated, ambitious and disciplined. He inspires me with how hard he works to achieve what he wants.

ETA: The absolute best thing about us is how we relax each other. There is nothing on earth that can calm me down when I'm stressed or relax me better than just being held by him. He's like a drug to me. Way better than a Valium!

FI is awesome because he's a genuinely wonderful person. He's honest, considerate, smart, funny, hard-working, affectionate, sweet, and very patient.

He makes me happy every day. Spending time with him is always the best part of my day.
