Is it from an injury or genetics?

I'm back here in Delaware after being away almost continuously for a month and a half. In some ways, it will be good to get into the swing of things. So weird that my coursework is over, and all I have to do this semester is study.

So exciting that you're getting married so soon!

Wouldn't it be nice to live together in the kind of world where we belong?
  • I can't distract you.  I'm excited for cake.
  • I go to a Catholic University.
They hired a new theology professor this year. He is a very elderly monk, working in exchange for room and board, and a little bit of a paycheck.
The powers of google uncovered articles claiming that said monk is really a fake. His order supposedly does not exist.
He was fired on the spot, but the pending investigation claims to have found that the order is real, but he is the last surviving member.
Either A) he is an imposter monk
or B) A diocese in another state owes him one hell of an apology for 20 years worth of defamation of character.
Either way, my school is klassy.

  • Here's an old, stupid joke that makes my dad cry/almost crash the car every time he hears it, because he's laughing so hard. I don't know why I've been thinking about it today. If you don't think it's funny, at least you'll know a little more about my dad.

So, this man goes to his doctor. "I've had trouble with silent farts," he says. "I had three this morning when I got up, two on the way over here, and another two just while I've been waiting in this room. I just don't know what's going on."

"Well," says the doctor, "the first thing I'm going to do is check your hearing."

Wow.  I had to laugh out loud at this one.  Poor monk.
  • Ooh, exciting! You must be relieved to be done with all the planning.

  • Jasmine - That is super awkward either way.

Anna - Red velvet, vanilla and raspberry or chocolate?

Laura - No honeymoon until summer.  I'm in grad school, which eats my life.

  • Gil actually chewed up a pair of Uggs and is known for stalking me around corners to attack my feet.  But he is usually an angel...85% of the time ;)

    Let's try this again:

So many decisions.  I guess I'll have to eat my piece and Cory's.  I don't discriminate against ANY cake based on color.  I love cake.
  • I think my most favorite thing about Gil is how he folds his paws :)
  • Oh my gosh, that's exciting. Uuummmmm, our puppy keeps humping our 2-year-old dog. H has decided that little one would be on Jerry Springer. That's all I got. Oh, I'm kinda drinking wine.

I really hope you have a great few days - I remember being sooooo excited. Hopefully, you'll be like me and wake up 100% calm and overjoyed on your wedding day. I wish you the most wonderful day!

  • I heart Gil too, and love the "I said good morning, Gil!" quote. That's one of my fave movies.

  • Honeymoon is going to be this summer.  I think we're doing something road trip-y.  We're hoping to do a big 5 year anniversary trip to Ireland, at least that is the plan right now.
