Are apparently what I have. Yeah, I totally dropped a 45lb weight from above knee height
straight onto my foot. Ouchie. That's what I get for working out??
Anywho, here's what it looked like just after I did it.
Juuuust a bit swollen.
Derek took me to Urgent Care and they did a bunch of x-rays and apparently nothing us broken, so I'm just to use RICE for now and take Advil as needed.
It looks a lot better today, and I can sorta hobble around as long as I'm not on my feet for too long.
Today:
Still swollen, but not nearly as much. Oddly, my shoes fit more poorly today then they did last night. Odd.
So, who's had a "soft tissue" injury like this before? How long for healing? JUST when I was actually sorta maybe getting into running too....
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
