I love roller coasters, but I don't think I could go on that. Things that spin in circles (like merry go rounds) make me nauseous. I also pretty terrified of heights, but as long as I'm strapped in I'm ok.
FI hates roller coasters and that makes me sad! I really want to go to Six Flags sometime, but he wouldn't go on any of the rides. He's no fun.
The old version of this was my favorite ride when I was little and I still love it. I have waited a long time for someone to make one that went that high up, I can't wait to go to CP this summer. I love this kind of stuff. Last time we went we rode the propeller type thing in the thrill park next to CP and it was crazy. It felt like all the blood ran to our feet and they were really heavy and tingly while we were riding.

That's a pretty funny picture. :) Charlie definitely said he would never do it again. He's a thrill seeker, but apparently that was too much even for him.
I think it was worth going up to the top while he was on the ride. It was a lovely space, and the view of the Strip was incredible. And I think I'm remembering free hot cider for some reason. It doesn't take much to make me happy. :)

Mr B and I love roller coasters. Our first kiss was at the top of Gwazi at Busch Gardens. ;-) I live in Orlando so we have several choices: BG, Islands of Adventure, Disney, Sea World. The Hulk is pretty awesome.
Mr B planned his own roller coaster tour years ago and went to a whole bunch of different parks to ride the coasters. I forget which ones. When we went to Vegas, he rode that spinning ride at the top of the Stratosphere. I don't do well with heights so I was a no go on that one.

Did you know the speed of Space Mountain is like 30 mph? I never knew that. I found that out while reading about the other rides at Disney. The Aerosmith coaster, which I LOVE, accelerates/takes off with the force of 5Gs, and the space shuttle astronauts feel 3Gs at liftoff. I also loved the Tower of Terror, and old wooden coasters with long steep drops and sharp curves. There's something to be said about smooth metal coasters that flip you upside down and around too.
We didn't go to the Stratosphere, because we had to pay to get into the hotel, then pay to ride each ride. Tight-wallet said no. BUT - we did do NY NY, and that was an awesome coaster.
Yes. I love thrill rides. I don't love them the next day, when my back hurts so bad I can't walk hardly and my neck is stiff, but OMG. Bring them on.
Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
Oh em gee, I went on that frickin horrifying ride on the Stratosphere in Vegas. I legit thought I was going to die. I succumb to peer pressure so easily. It better not happen again when we go in a month.
I usually love thrill rides. Well, roller coasters specificially. I can NOT do the Wicked Twister, and there's no way I'm going on that one you posted Mara. And I get thrill-ride-induced Tourettes when I go on Power Tower. No no no no. But I love roller coasters!
I love 'scary rides' but FI is afraid of heights sooo amusement parks should be interesting for us, we haven't gone to any together yet. That windseeker is too much for me though, it looks freaky!
I am not a fan of roller coasters, though a few months ago I spent the day on a bunch of roller coasters at Great Adventure. My eyes were shut tight and my hands were clenched very hard around the handles of each ride. I only went on them cause I wanted to try the bungee jump thing and be brave but someone told me I would have a heart attack if I wasn't used to those things, so I was 'training' all morning going on the roller coasters. The bungee thing was closed.
That ride in your link brings the swings to a whole new level, literally. A much higher level. I would not look down.
ETA: Though if you keep your eyes open the view is probably amazing!
omg ladies... cedar point OR kings island GTG MUST happen!!! That would be epic =D
I love CP, their rides are amazing and I've been on them all I really don't like the mean streak though... the oldest wooden roller coaster in the US or something... it is really jerky... it gave me a head ache! I LOVE millenium force
I would not ride the one in the OP though... I would also feel like I would be the one person riding the one arm that decided to liberate itself from the rest of the ride and I would plummet to my death.
