Teeth conundrum (PIP)

Re: Teeth conundrum (PIP)

  • I think for the lack of how big the problem is you shouldn't shell out the cash for veneers. I think your teeth look nice but I completely understand where you're coming from. I have a couple teeth that look crooked to me but when I point them out other people are like what are you even talking about. My dentist gave me a little bit of a "shave" like PP mentioned to help smooth out my two front teeth. You might ask if they can do that to yours. But, if it's something that's really important to you and would make you feel better then go for it but i don't think you need veneers.

  • I think they look fine!! If it were severely noticeable, I would totally say t do it, but it's really not. Save the money ;)
  • Okay, I can totally and completely relate.

A few years back I got braces to fix my crooked teeth and even had voluntary jaw surgery to correct my overbite. This resulted in me being in wired/elasticed shut for 8 weeks and living on liquid.

So anyway, after all that I went through, my front teeth bucked back out. Yup, Thousand and thousands of dollars to have my darn teeth shift.

As I see it, some of us nitpick one part of ourselves. Those of us who smile a lot see the teeth as being the first point of contact. Comparing ours to others all the time.

But as for your teeth, a chip is character of you. A story you can tell if you are ever talking to people. It really isn't a bad thing. And veeners, as pretty as they look, I don't think they are worth it. It's basically like pulling all your teeth for dentures at a young age for no reason.

I honestly don't think they are worth it. And while your teeth might not be "perfect", no one truely is.
