We don't always celebrate, but like Bren said, we recognize the day we officially became BF/GF.

    Oh, the memories... *huge sigh*

We celebrate the day we became official: July 17th. His bday is 10 days after our anniversary so I tend to get him a few gifts, one for anni. and another [or w/e] for bday. He usually takes me out to dinner. This coming year we're thinking of a trip to San Diego.

We celebrate on May 6th, which is the day he asked me out.  Being in high school and all, that kind of equalled being boyfriend and girlfriend.  On the 8th he changed his relationship status on Facebook to "in a relationship", I made a comment about how I hoped it was with me, he laughed, I changed mine, and there you go.  (I know, we're so classy.)  It kind of sealed the deal and we decided to go with the 6th, since we both had thought we'd be exclusive from the get go.

Last year we went out for dinner at 1.5 years, but that was just because we wanted a reason to go out for a nice dinner.  We also may or may not have gone out to dinner on the anniversary of when we first did something for the first time ever haha.

I mentioned on September 7th that it was 2 years since we had met, but we didn't celebrate really.  Maybe said, "I'm glad I've known you for 2 years" and kissed, but that's about it.

The first night we kissed is what we consider our dating anniversary - we've been together ever since, and exclusive from the beginning.  October 26th.  Though he doesn't think any of them are a big deal, he's willing to go along with whatever I plan.  Last year we went away for the weekend, this year we had just gotten back from vacation so he completely ignored it.  Which didn't make me happy!
