Thanks guys! My mom said everyone did great. She had a pretty short labor. They left for the hospital at noon and we were all in the room saying hi to the little one by around 6.

Yay, Adamar! What's her name? Edie, this is the first movie we've watched. We usually have to do a deaf activity each quarter, but I'm taking these classes at a satellite campus. There isn't an established deaf community here, so we're watching the movie instead. Edit: I corrected autocorrect twice. Jesus. Horrible mistake.

Congratulations, Adamar! I love every second of being an auntie.

FI is driving to work in our new car today! We spent alllll day yesterday at the dealership and left cranky and hungry, but it was totally worth it because the car is everything we need and we got an amazing warranty.

Today is future stepson's (FSS?) tenth birthday! A big one! I've gotta go get the cake in a few.

Bay, I've lived in CT my whole life and have never been to the Noah Webster House, oddly. It's on our list. Have fun!

Her name is Keeghan Rae. I was a little iffy on Keeghan at first, but it's growing on me. Yesterday was H's grandma's birthday too, so that was cool. Everyone kept saying we needed to give her a new goal (as in we need to get pregnant). I just kept saying "nope."

A, we spent much of Sunday with H's family. His aunts would not shut up about babies. Whenever I held H's cousin's baby, every set of eyes started at me.

That's how I felt last night! ESPECIALLY when H was standing kind of behind me looking over my shoulder at her. I kept thinking "oh god, they're going to imagine seeing some kind of yearning look on our faces." If his parents start with the baby crap again I will kick something. And then tell them again to knock that shiiit out (well, have H tell them).

I like babies and probably want to have one, but every time someone makes a pressuring comment about a honeymoon baby or how long after the wedding we want a baby, it makes me want to wait that much longer.

I know babies are fun and exciting for everyone involved, but why do people feel the need to put so much pressure on women who don't have them yet?

I had a new Mirena put in earlier this year. Since it seems to be doing just fine, I'll probably wait until it needs to be replaced. I'm cheap like that.

Babies are a crap ton of work and I'm entirely too selfish to put a small child's needs above my own right now. I definitely get the baby bug when I see my friends' kids, but then I remember I get to give them back.

The "baby talk" just gives me anxiety. Luckily our families don't harp too much yet.

But being an aunt is fun! Yay Adamar!

My head has been examined and we're trying a new migraine medication. I hope it works.

And, it's the one that I can be on while I'm pregnant, if/when that happens. And, it helps with anxiety instead of causing it.

MuSu, ugh. Food poisoning can take a while to incubate, so it may have been lunch yesterday, or even breakfast. Hopefully you'll feel better soon as it sucks.

FI woke up sick this morning so is working from home today. Semi-annoying because I had to cancel 3 vendor appointments. Hopefully I can remake them for Friday.
