Hey ladies! It is DEAD over on the vow board so I was hoping to get some help here. Here is what I imagine to be the final version of my vows. I would love your thoughts,opinions, and any suggestions for changes!
Tom, I stand before you, our families and our friends today to join my life with your life, my heart with your heart, and my future with your future.
Today we begin to live our lives together as husband and wife but really our lives together started years ago.
Every decision we have made in our lives has brought us to where we are now and I could not be happier to be standing here with you today, looking forward to a lifetime together.
I cannot express to you how lucky I feel to have met you, and how much luckier I feel to be marrying you today. Your love is the greatest gift I have ever received.
I promise to always be a friend to you, first and foremost. I promise to laugh with you, and cry with you, and to try to make you laugh when you are crying. I promise to be an open ear and an open heart to you, and to always be your soft place to land. I promise to be your partner, and stand beside you through the good times and the bad. I promise to always reach for your hand when things get tough, and to hold your hand when we're walking down the street together.
