Hi everyone! Just got up from a lil' nap because I was up very late and awake very early this morning. I wish I could say I was done with Christmas shopping but the truth is that I have barely started (so unlike me!) I actually have a real lack of Christmas spirit this year... haven't even put my tree up and have only bought 1 present for my FH. I haven't gotten paid from 2 contracts I completed (I worked 2 temporary jobs for the school from which I am getting my doctorate) and won't get paid until after the holidays. Plus, I'm getting married 6-30-12 so I'm definitely wishing it was no longer winter 2012! I hope everyone has an amazing week this week and they don't feel a lick of stress

Petal - it was really good. Very filling, so I'll be keeping the portions nice and small this week.

Aleigh - that sounds delightful. I'd do something like that in a heartbeat if it was afforable for us - get out of dodge and skip all the Xmas nonsense.

Ok. We live kind of in between Tampa and Orlando so we get over that way quite a bit.

I looked up the forecast for Christmas Day and it is supposed to be 80 here. I am very upset that I will be in MI where it will be 30. I don't get along with cold weather.

HI!

I'm watching the Big Fat Gypsy Christmas special and cooking some tamales for dinner.

Fi is grating on my nerves today. It's like anything I say goes in one ear and out the other. Plus, his mom asked what price range we were looking at for houses..and he told her. We don't live in their area, we're not moving to their area I don't ask them how much they want to spend on their new house. It's not her business.

I think I'm just grumpy today. Christmas shopping makes me want to punch a kitten.
