  They really really screwed up in the HBP movie.
  
  1. The ruined the Harry Ginny relationship. I agree with everything that everyone else has said on that topic, so there's no need to say more.
  
  2. They REALLY screwed up by not including a lot more of the memories. I agree that the book Voldemort is ridiculously more developed than the movie Voldemort (as all of the other characters are and pretty much have to be), but the way the wrote movie V, he's just a bad guy who wants to kill Muggles and half bloods. But the part that gets me is that they left huge holes in how Harry is going to even know what to look for to find the Horcruxes, let alone where. I mean. It was SO stupid to have Ginny hid the potions book in the Room of Requirement because Harry hiding it himself is the entire reason he knows where it is in DH.

  I think they ruined a lot of the characters in the films. JKR created great characters with depth and 3 dimension, but Voldemort comes across as being a very poorly developed character who is just hellbent on killing everyone.
  It's the same with all the charcters, though. You find yourself not caring about the characters in the movies the way you do in the books. And some of them are portrayed completely different.
  
  I can't imagine movie-goers being upset about certain deaths in the movies and I'll probably get a lot of strange looks when I'm reaching for my tissues and my eyeliner is all messed up.
  
  I feel like the movie-goers are being robbed of a great story and fantastic characters.

  How about ALL the house elf stuff? In the entire HBP book Hermoine is obsessed with making the elfs clothes and tricking them into taking them so they can be free. The house elfs have been severely cut from all the movies and I'm curious to see if Dobby will have the same role in the last 2 movies he did in the book.

  Exactly! And when they kiss for the first time bc of what Ron says during the fire! It makes me irritated just thinking about it being left out of the movie! We will have to wait and see.
