I think there's a big difference in flaming one person, and the entire board.

If you don't like it, then why are you here to begin with? Just sayin...
Having said what I said above re: judgmental and petty, I do find the irony somewhat amusing. Person A flames person B, person B then flames person A, and then person B gets flamed again for flaming back (theoretically, person B's flame should be flame-free as well). Maybe it should just be Flaming Friday. :)

She does have a point!

I think she caught on the only day we are snarky towards eachother. Honestly, hang around the board more. The ladies here are pretty awesome and if you ask questions they will help you out a ton!
We pick one day to take out our frustrations. If you don't like it don't post as other PP have said. Just avoid FFF and you'll be good to go!

In the sweetest way possible: Have a great weekend Ladies!!!!

There are three types of people when it comes to FFF.

1-People who participate openly in FFF and don't get miffed.
2-People who participate minimally and don't quite like FFF
3-People who participate in FFF and end up mad/or making people mad

I am flaming a guy on another message board I read. A woman asked a question about how she can feel better about her physical size. She dropped to a size 2-4 as a result of a lot of stress, and now she's at a size 8 but feels big. She's a marathoner and triathlete. A lot of people had good advice for how to feel better and take on a different perspective, but one guy chimes in and says that based on a picture of another woman online with the same height (5'8") and weight (~150), he doesn't believe it's average and he thinks someone like that could stand to lose more pounds. That's the most counterproductive answer I could have imagined.
I've just read a lot of really offensive things today, and I don't understand sitting around wedding message boards judging people who are just here to plan their weddings--blah blah blah

Um, how many posts did you read today? This is the one day we have this FFF post (and the only one that might have "offensive things", but that's the point of this thread anyway.... and ditto Brianna's comments..

The rest of the posts are helpful to local things etc...

This is so comical... it's all boring until about mid-afternoon, and then BAM it blows up. Every. Single. Week. It would be insanely boring if nobody flamed anyone else's posts. I love it!!! Flame on, ladies, flame on!!

If you are looking for positions in anything try places like Baylor, UT Southwestern, and other medical centers.

Sadly, I did this recently, even though my job is gold by most standards.

If I was offended by FFF then I would probably do one of two things:
1) drop the Dallas board
or 2) only read wedding related posts on the Dallas board.

I am flaming my brother for acting like an *ss today. We're all hurting but that's no reason to snap at our father or acting like he's the most irritating man ever. He's trying to distract himself and it's comforting to him. It's not all about you right now. We're all each other has and we need to stick together and support one another and not tear each other apart. Get over yourself.
Ok, I've held this in long enough. FI and I loaned FMIL $600 because she was helping FI's brother and wife out. Posted by rcpm44
This really sucks Rene :( I've learned I'm more likely to win the lottery that I don't play than to get money back from family members and to consider it giving rather than loaning.
