I'm late (darn you, west coast time!), but I agree 100% with this. I know people mean well, but it's akin to saying "Oh, just stop using, drug addicts! Drug addiction isn't real!" or claiming that any other diagnosable mental health issue isn't real. It's one thing that really gets under my skin... If you're not trained in recognizing and diagnosing it, stop talking and learn about it.

I wouldn't go around saying that skin diseases or immune disorders aren't real (or telling people what to do to get rid of them), because I wouldn't know what the hell I'm talking about.

finally caught up. when someone mentioned future-mrs posted in ka's thread this morning, i checked it out. i could swear there was a sig pic there. when i clicked on arb's "mean girls" link, it wasn't there. also, someone mentioned her bio - there's no bio link there either. weird.

People know I handle family law and only family law. So, yes people may take things I say related to family law as legal advice. Edit *(Believe me pro se litigants always think/ want me to provide them legal advice even though I tell them 100 times I can't. Celles, your point about traffic is something I'd thought about when Amoro got banned, actually. Drama = page views = revenue. So while obviously it doesn't work to have posters so awful that everyone GBCKs, a little bitchiness is good for business. The whole argument that someone like Amoro would get banned for making people not want to be on TK and therefore losing the site money never really worked in my head.
