Hi, I don't post very often but I want to try and stop in to play more! First, here is my puppy, his name is Buddy he is a 3 year old mini-dachshund.

I live in Western NY, FI and I will be closing on our house in about a month, and we are getting married in August. We met in high school and have been together since. You ladies are awesome entertainment during downtime at work, I just haven't had the chance/worked up the nerve to post much yet!

Hi! I am reils or Reilly. My H is Levis. His name is french and pronounced funny. I am 29 and he is 30. We have recently moved to an acreage in northern Alberta (Canada). We (and by we I mean mostly H) are currently building a house on said acreage. We have a Chihuahua named Jack. Once our house is done I want to get a cat and a bigger outdoor dog.

H and I own our own business doing residential design and drafting. H also works on the business end of his family's farm.

I enjoy reading, watching movies, working out/lifting weights, hanging out with H, and cooking/baking. I can't wait till our house and yard is done so that I can start gardening. I love shopping but there aren't any stores near where we live.

Umm, I think that's it.

I am a bit late to this, so I am going to jump in first and then go back and read.

Not shockingly, my name is Kate/Katy. I am 29 and live with my H and our Cavalier King Charles Finley in a townhome in the suburbs. We were married this last October, and it was 80+ degrees, which was awesome/crazy for Oct in MN. I love reading fiction, I love love love the Vampire Diaries. I am much more a "type b" person than "type a".

Yeah, it was a sample gown that was discarded from a bridal salon because it was last season. It retailed for almost $2000 and I got it for $325.

Hi everyone.. My name is Jess and I am 30. Fl is John and he is about to turn 34 on the 24th of this month. We have been engaged since July 4th 2011.. Our Wedding is June 23. We met in the 7th grade. Haven't been together the whole time though. I have 3 children. I work full time as a sales advisor for a major automotive retailer, but we had a fire at my store last July and I am still waiting for my store to re-open. (that is what has afforded me so much time to lurk on TK).. am facinated by Nebb and AATB

For those of you who like bad reality tv I highly recommend http://www.imbringingbloggingback.com/. He does recaps of Teen Mom and the real Housewives shows that are hilarious. I don't even watch them but I read his posts regularly.

But the good part of RI? Even though I'm in northern RI, I'm still only an hour from the ocean. Even if most Rhode Islanders think driving more than 15 minutes is far...

I just felt bad leaving her alone at home, plus I started spending weekends at FI's and he lives about an hour away so it was complicated. Luckily my MOH wanted a cat badly so she took mine and I still get to see her

If you're in northern you are definitely near me! :)

I kind of like that about RI too - it's an easy drive to the beach, and there seems to be a lot of coastline for such a small state.

I'm 35 and H is 31 (alright, alright, alright) and we've been married almost whole 3 weeks. We live in Florida and I'm an administrator in higher education who can really only Knot during boring-ass webinars. Right now I really want to stab this presenter who put a wall of text on every Powerpoint slide and is reading the whole damn thing ala Ben Stein.

I'm really passionate about music, sports, and toast. I also run half-marathons to accommodate my relationship with red wine and said toast.

Hi I'm Wiscisbliss. I live in Madison, Wisconsin and love my life! DH and I have been married for a year and a half and just welcomed a beautiful baby boy into our family. We also have a crazy kitty named Jojo. I like camping, reading, baking, crafts - especially making cards and knitting, ultimate frisbee, softball, boating, spending time with friends... and as my husband says "going on adventures." I really like to try new things and go new places.

I'm Jenna, I love to eat cream cheese, sour cream, and mayo on everything. I do taxes for a living but want to be a preschool teacher. I drink wine and beer and have just started becoming more snobby about my selections. I have a boxer boy that I love even though he never wants to cuddle with his mom. I love the Bachelor, hate The Voice, never wear plain white shirts because I'm too messy, and miss my sisters terribly.

Oh, and I'm marrying a 6'6'' man with a heart of gold. But I won't change my name for him. ha.

When we first got him, he was very overweight and weighed around 23-25 pounds (due to his lifestyle). After putting him on a diet and encouraging him to play, he stayed around 13 pounds for years. He is a bigger cat though, very tall, so he wasn't really considered overweight. Just healthy, with a little bit of flab.

Now, he hovers between 6 to 8 pounds depending on whether it's been a good few days or not. He's skinny, there's no denying it.

Hi I am Amy, but since there are always more Amys you can call me DNA. (DH is the D).
We live in CO, you can see my two doggies below, and we also have a kitty.
I teach art, this will be a p & R but I really wanted to add.

I just started triathloning last year and am hooked. I also just joined weightwatchers to get lighter and leaner to help with my speed (and health). I try to post more but never have the time. DH and I are both really active and outdoorsy (camping, hiking running, etc)

We got married in July, we are taking a big trip this summer to Scotland and Ireland for like a month. Because we are both teachers and hav time off. Our 5 year annivesary is St. Patty's day this year! We met at an Irish bar on St. Pattys in 2007.

I love gardening, only on my 3rd year and more sucessful every year.
I love Boondock Saints (read that in yesterday's thread.) And punk rock, all things art, making it teaching it, viewing it, making fun of it.

Hopefully I can come back soon.

OMG the.dog in the.coat! Happy birthday, DJ! I'm 29, my husband is 30 and we have a dachshund named Baxter. We just got married in November and we're planning our HM in Hawaii, which.is exciting! I just finished my Master's in Language Education and N is still working towards a degree. We're saving up for a house and we're planning onTTC next spring. I love to shop and put outfits together. Sometimes I dream.of quitting my job and opening a small boutique- I'd love to be a buyer for a small store. I am obsessed with planning for emergencies, like a few of you said. N laughs at me, but I'll save his life.one day for sure :P. I am a big reader and N and I love hiking local trails. I'm not too interesting, lol.
