groomsmen in vest

has anyone done just vest for the groomsmen?  i'm having an outside louisiana wedding in july (can you say hot) so I want them to be as comfortable as possible.  thinking of groom only having jacket.  does anyone have pictures of how it turned out?? thanks

    I'm doing the same thing, but my wedding is in three weeks so I can't offer pictures yet. I've seen wedding pictures of the groomsmen with the jackets off for a one of the poses, and loved that look so much better then the suits. My groom is wearing a suit though.

    I found that it looks better if they are actual suit vest, because the backs are finished and not adjusted in the back. As long as they aren't tux vests, it will look great!
