  Tlv - In 2008, he went for a procedure on his knee and for some reason, they did a full body scan and discovered a tumor in his brain. He fought long and hard for over a year (chemo, radiation) and had brain surgery about a week ago, but died today. I'm not sure if he got an infection from the surgery or if he died from the cancer itself, but it's horrible either way. I feel so sorry for his family - what an awful awful way to begin 2010. I can't imagine what they are going through right now.
