Hello ladies, I have been so hit or miss around here lately. Things are starting to move much faster than I like in my world. Makes me want to dig my heels in, grab ahold of the arms of the clock and just stop time altogether, if only for an evening.
FI is working again tonight. I have seen him for a total of 20 minutes since last Wednesday morning, even though we live in the same house. Yikers are schedules have been wackadoodle.
What is up for each of you tonight? I am finishing my first beer and we will see what gets done after that.
Re: Evening thread, I have missed you my pretties
Waiting on rush hour to clear and the rain to pass over the highway home before I leave!
I've also been MIA lately. DH is OOT. Chef is driving me crazy. I think I need a drink
sorry you haven't been able to see your FI lately. Been there, done that. Remember this too will end.
Hi Ski! Hope you and Mr. Ski get some quality time soon! I'm about to leave for an audition and it's pouring rain out and there's an accident on all three of the logical routes to the theatre. ugh.

If it's raining as much in your corner of the state as it is over here you might want to consider going out in a rowboat!
Wow!
Steffi, what part of NC do you live in?
Posted by MyUserName1
I work in Winston Salem and have a house I lease in Pinnacle that we're moving out of next month and a house we own in Cherryville that we're moving back into next month.
The commute into Winston is going to be killer, but I'm supposed to be able to work from home 2 or 3 days a week to make it bearable.
MUN, it was good! That's all I'm showing since I'm internet anonymous.

I love it! How long is your hair when it's down?

<div>I don't know where those other places are, so I can't sympathize on the commute! I can see the traffic jam you're avoiding as I stalk NC DOT to see if I-40 has reopened yet though.</div>
I'm here for a bit, waiting for FI to get finished with his bar class. Today hasn't been my day. First, I found out that it would cost $700 to fill my presctription without insurance, and second, that it's going to rain tomorrow and now I have no idea what to do about our engagement pictures since they were supposed to be outside.

I drive 52 north towards Mt Airy to go home right now. I hate 52 with a passion! And Cherryville is a little southwest of Hickory.
My farm I lease is at the base of Pilot Mountain bordering the state park.
Very close Eagles, so close. My vacation with my sisters starts the Friday prior, so I have a countdown of 17 days till I see them. Then is another 5 days till the wedding. I can not wait to be on the river for 17 days.
In Response to Re: Evening thread, I have missed you my pretties : Photoshop. If it doesn't actively rain during your pictures, you could still get some great shots. Is your prescription generic? Thank you Mica!
Posted by EaglesBride2012
Nope, the generic doesn't work for me at all, which is a shame, since I have stock piles of it. I need the name brand and I need the highest dose.
I'm definitely hoping the photographer touches up the photos a bit because along with my skin peeling issues, FI woke up with a few pimples this morning.
I'm not sure if we're going to try to find indoor locations or postpone. I'd rather not postpone though.
Ok so I haz a question. I'm doing allergy testing on Thursday and therfore cannot be on any oral antihistamines. I'm apparently having an allergic reaction to something and my palms, the back of my hands, my upper arms, and part of my legs are itching. I'm also have a severe reaciton to skeeter bites that may or may not be causing the itchiness in my extremities.
ANYWAYS, does anyone have any suggestions on natural remedies to help alleviate the itching? I got into the shower and turned it as hot as I could stand it and that helped for about 10 minutes. Topical stuff like benadryl and calamine lotion are a waste.
UGH. Thursday cannot come fast enough.
Thank you! When my hair is down, it falls a little below my shoulders, but Angel's right, there is a TON of it. I love it. After it was all done up and I had the veil in, I felt like a bride for the first time. :) Ski, you're getting super close! Ange, how was the shore?

I wonder if I have too much hair to do something like that?
Oatmeal bath. Aveeno has some good products. Recommended for kids with Chicken Pox so it should work for you.

What about witch hazel?
Or teething gel that will numb the area?
