I never said that EVERYONE was rude. Clearly everyone who has posted a comment on this does not fall under that category. I was hoping that the "rude" people would explain why they are so evil?

Some people have a serious lack of understanding that just because someone will not validate a bad idea--i.e. cash bars, no food at a dinnertime reception (I assume that's the thread you're referring to), "cash only" requests, or tiered receptions--does not mean the person is rude.

When a person asks for advice, doesn't get validation of their bad idea, and starts telling others how they should respond, etc--that's rude.
