Honestly, Emily, I couldn't tell you lol. I dont remember what it was about AT ALL. I think it might have been something about how race was talked about in the media? Like how the media reported it was racist?

I don't even remember what the case was about, I just remember the name because my professor had a weird accient and I always thought he said "GREAT SCOTT!"

yeah, no, those are on every corner too. corporate coffee pimps. they're a little more scattered when you get further from downtown. but there's probably like 5 in a 2 block radius from my office.

Pink - I agree with the toasted sub critique. I think I'm more of a steamed sub person. Firehouse toasts their bread LIGHTLY, then they steam the cheese and meat so the meat is warm and the cheese melts. BASICALLY it's like heaven.

I miss Timmy Ho's like crazy. Back at home you are always within 5 minutes of one. We don't have any here, which is surprising because we are only an hour from the border. I was adament on going to one when we went to Whistler, and never went. We planned on going on the way home, and they weren't showing up in the GPS, and we were STARVING, so we settled on Burger King finally. Didn't we effing see a Tim's finally about 2 blocks further?

Yeah, its about how the Supreme Court decided that the Constitution did not grant citizenship to slaves even if they were emancipated.I mean, it is obviously more complicated than that, but ya know.

Okay, YES, now I remember. I want to say it was one of the cases we talked about where we were supposed to get a little "fundamentals" of law. Kinda like why things would go to the Supreme Court and stuff and that was an example used

It wasn't one of the cases we got hardcore into like Roe v. Wade and we didn't get all into the legal part, it was how the media reported it.
