Do you have grievances?

My grievance is that the grievancing is dead. Christmas is over, we don't all have to pretend to love each other anymore.

Of course, this is coming from someone with nothing else to add, so take that at face value, I suppose.

Oh wait. I have another one. I can't remember the exact thread, but I remember there being some scuttlebutt from Steph about sorting posts and what the proper thing to do was. It was just kind of silly because, who cares?

It's kind of like how I think that posts with instructions to newbs are lame. I mean, are we really that awesomely exclusive that we need to tell people how to be cool? I would rather them be themselves. That way, I can weed out the true assholes from the ones that are just pretending not to be assholes because they read it in the how to manual.

Im with Nebb and the other girls. I love to read real books. It is really the only collection of anything I have. I will let people borrow my books, but I wont borrow other peoples, I want my own.

I don't usually post on the grievance threads, but I will just say how glad I am that so many people love real books. I work in a used bookstore, and it makes me happy to see that not everyone has jumped on the Kindle bandwagon. All the different Kindle threads were getting so annoying. I'm sure eventually, Kindles and Nooks will take over, I just hope that doesn't happen until I retire!

I'm happy to hear that things have been turning around, and can't wait to hear a positive update (besides your job! Wooo!) whenever you're ready.

ETA: I also agree that you really haven't seemed all down in the dumpsy. I was shocked by your post because I had no idea something crappy was going on with you, aside from normal every day stressful things. FWIW, and all.
