As I've stated here, I'm swamped at work right now. I went to do a deposit this morning and found out that for some reason my company only shipped part of an order. I sent a general who authorized this and why type email to the 5 people that might have done it.

The guy that authorized it realized he screwed up, but sent me a scathing half page email blaming the whole thing on me because of a bunch of completely unrelated issues, which I also happen to have nothing to do with. I had no good response for him, because I'm smart enough to not put that type of shiit in writing. Since he's been doing this type of thing to me for a while now I forwarded his email along to the executives at the company. I guess we'll see what happens.

I'm still mad that my brother's friend is staying with me for a few days, but I'm too passive-agressive to have said no in the first place, so I'll just whine about it here.

Yesterday morning he texted me and asked if he could get a ride from the airport at 2:30. On a Thursday. Yeah no. I'm kind fo busy. You know, working? Fi reluctantly did it because he has a flexible schedule and works way closer to the airport than I do. Then he dropped said house guest off in the downtown area near his office for a few hours while he went back to work. Lol.

It reminded me of that thing Sarah posted a few weeks ago about things to learn by the time you're 25. One of them is to NOT assume you can crash with friends. Get a hotel. And learn how taxi cabs work. Except this guy isn't even a friend, he's my brother's roommate.

One of my preschoolers pooped her pants today. Not a huge deal, it happens from time to time. It's her third time in the past month. Still, I'm not worried...she has a change of clothes, she knows what to do. So she grabs her clothes and I send her up to the bathroom (which is in the 3yr old classroom, where the two assistants were watching the 3s) and I went back down to my classroom to watch my 4s and 5s. Well ten minutes later, she's still in there, so I go to check on her. I open the door, and THERE IS POOP EVERYWHERE!!! All over the floor, in the sink, on the toilet, on her leg, on her butt, COVERING her girlie parts, on her SOCKS, on her shirt all over the plastic bag I gave her for her clothes. (And keep in mind, this is not runny or anything, it's just normal poop, so it really shouldn't be EVERYWHERE) She's just standing there in her shirt, shoes and socks, throwing paper towels in the toilet (which they all know is a big no-no).

I almost screamed.

As calmly as I can, I ask her why there's poop everywhere. She says because she was trying to wipe her butt. I ask her if she was wiping her butt on the floor, and she says yes.

Seriously?!?!?!?!

And then her mom acted like it was no big deal! And this is the same little girl who told me the last two times that she pooped her pants that she had done it so she could wear her other panties.

I know I don't have any kids of my own yet, and I really don't care if I get flamed for this, but I've spent enough time around enough preschoolers to know that almost all of them know when they need to potty and the majority of accidents stem from the kids being too unwilling to stop whatever they're doing and go to the bathroom. They KNOW what they're doing is wrong, SO STOP EFFING CODDLING THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(BTW, she did this while they were having free play, not during nap or anything, so there's really no excuse)

ale, I had a 5th grader have an accident along those lines. But we had a rash of salmonella go through several classrooms (not from school, but the kids who caught it apparently came to school contagious and several others caught it). She had it all over her hands, the wall, toilet stall, etc. I felt sorry for her, but was quite happy to send her home.

Now I'll have an image of a kid scooting across the floor trying to clean her butt...

My bitching is actually something that happened yesterday. This douche in my neighborhood had his dog off leash (they were just sitting in the grass, no reason to remove a collar and leash) and it trotted over and attacked my dog. I didn't say anything because A) he looked like he was 80 and 2) I could have punted that little dog if need be. I felt bad though, because the dog ran out in front of a car to get to Cindy, and the guy didn't even realized the dog was missing for about 2 minutes. Poor Cindy was all timid on the way home

Re: the loud motorcycles. Yes, they are super annoying. But, I am so glad my dad's is loud as shiit. People in AZ just do not care about motorcyclists (at least, people always seemed much more aware back in Wisconsin) and he chose a louder one so people would notice him on the road. I definitely see the complaint about them in neighborhoods though.

I'm pissed at the UT Football players. Esp this freshman because he got in a bar fight and he and some of his team mates put an off duty cop and another person in the ICU at UT Medical center. Either they'll get off scot free (not cool) or they won't get to play. Either way it screws our reputation AGAIN and if they can't play (which I think they shouldn't) we'll have ANOTHER sucky season.

What also pisses me off is that perp #1 is a freaking freshman. What in the HECK.
