I am bored-ish. I just made taco dip, im drinking beer with adam and watching friends and we just got GREAT NEWS! My overbearing aunt who FINALLY left 2 days ago is COMING BACK! TONIGHT! hooray!!!!!!
I'm ok - kinda bummed though. Christmas sucked (or rather, it wasn't what I had envisioned) and my dad's new Ukranian wife is starting to really piss me off. And I have to work at 7am tomorrow morning, so it looks like I'll be sleeping on the couch at work tonight.
I'm here. I'm watching Its Always Sunny (we finished getting the currently released seasons for christmas) and we just finished season 3. I don't know what I want for dinner.
My brother sent me a bunch of stuff from Texas for christmas and it came in the mail yesterday. He sent a thing of creole seasoning (and stupid me, I opened it and sniffed and then spent 5 minutes coughing) amongst other things. I used it on scallops tonight and it was seriously the most delicious thing ive cooked in ages.
I forgot how annoying video game music can be. We downloaded old school games last night on the Wii and now my darling husband is driving me crazy with them as we wait for dinner.

I did. I had dinner planned and prepped, but since the execution was left to others, it was an epic failure. The ham was overcooked and dry, the turkey was undercooked (someone had turned off the oven, but insisted it had "only been off for a few minutes" and yet the never frozen 12 lb turkey cooked for 2 1/2 hours after I got home and still wasn't done), the stuffing was disgusting - I think someone let my dad's wife in the kitchen, ack. I could go on but I won't. Needless to say, I really just wanted to go to Burger King and open presents with the kids after everything. We didn't even eat until 6pm, had to do presents after. The twins were asleep and Taryn was so exhausted she didn't even want to really play.

Okay, dinner's done! Have a nice night and Happy New Year!
I'm here, watching The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. H isn't feeling well so we're staying in tonight in preparation for tomorrow night's festivities. We had these turkey burger things that H made on the Foreman grill for dinner. I didn't feel like cooking tonight.
Nebb, I've only made scallops once and horribly overbooked them. The flavor was delicious but the texture was pretty chewy.

I just finished building a new cubby type shelf for in my gym. Impulse buy due to after-holiday sales. I also hit up Bath & Body for some bodywash, found a cute nightie, and scored a $60+ jacket at OldNavy for $16. so a pretty good day.
I made faux fried chicken breasts, steamed broccoli, and cheesy garlic cauliflower for dinner and am now enjoying ice cream with butterscotch syrup while watching the Military Channel
Hi ladies! We just had some grilled chicken with rice and green beans. It was yummy. I am feeling a little nervous because I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it came up positive. I am being very cautious because we found out on New Years Day last year and had a miscarriage in February. It is a few days earlier than I found out last year, so although I am happy, I am feeling scared because I don't want to go through the same thing again. It is just a bit weird that it is the same time as last year.

Speaking of Old Navy, my SIL got the kids snow prams for Christmas that we wanted to take back (the twins already have them, and she got the wrong size for Taryn). Unfortunately, she didn't give us a receipt and she cut the tags off, so I don't think we can exchange them. ::grumble grumble::

I'm here. I'm hungry after reading about what you guys are eating. I've been waiting since 6:30 for J to get home from work so we can get dinner. I'm thinking about starting in on the wine to alleviate boredom.
I'm being a complainer but I hate being home at night by myself. I had to spend last night (my birthday) by myself until 10 and it's depressing.
