I think it's odd that everyone cares that she did this. It's crazy that people quote a post from almost a year ago. It's sad that she is doing this, but calling her names such as "troll" and asking if she is 500 pounds is over the top. We are grown women here and I don't think grown, mature women should be acting like this. If she lied, then she lied. It's not that big of a deal. This is just a website. So, who really cares if she lied?

The post was from 04/03/2011. The board was May 11 (aka Wedding Month Board May 2011). So the post was just a few days ago.

Lying for sympathy and to play on the emotions of people who are trying to support each other is not kosher. That's what the big deal is.
