Friday night fun?

Who is having some?  I'm hanging out on the couch.  My whole body is sore, I think from the kid who for all intents and purposes, tried to kill me and my coworker yesterday.  I REALLY want to book a massage tomorow, but I don't wanna pay for it.  Perhaps the jacuzzi tub would be helpful in the morning...

    I'm here, not having much fun though.  I was on the couch for a bit, then poured myself another glass of wine and came back up to the computer.  Not having my laptop is killing me. 

    I really need a massage too.  A friend of mine got me a gift certificate for one from a place here for my birthday, and I need to just book it already.  My backs been really bad for a while, but sitting at the desk all week on the computer has killed me shoulders.

    I forgot I do have a $50 gift card for a place around here, that could help.  I could get a massage every day of my life.

    I am doing absolutely nothing outside of moping; H is in Basic Military Training for the AF, and fantastically, he ended up in a flight with ppl who are being trained for some sort of special ops things so they arent allowed phone calls, or allowed to write letters. He writes me letters, but they are hush hush :|

    I'm the bitchy wife waiting for my husband to get home from his job as a grocery store manager so he can go grocery shopping with me.  See, I told you I'm a bitch!  So no, currently I'm not having any fun.  Maybe after H gets home though!

    I have a partially subluxed rib that has been acting up since we moved in here.  And now my shoulders and neck are just a mess so I definitely need a good one.  I actually think facials are much more relaxing than massages because I like the deep tissue massages that get all the knots out.  I would actually take both services everyday.

    I just got home from an extended happy hour with LVB and Kentucky Kate! I met up with them at 4:30 and we just left. It was a good time.

    I should probably go to sleep though. We have to travel 2 hours tomorrow morning for a wedding. It was super duper tired this morning. :-/

    I loooove grocery shopping (no not kidding) and I especially love going by myself. I find it peaceful/de-stressing.

    Oh I agree - last time i got a massage and a facial after we got back from the wedding.  I thought I died and went to heaven.  And that was the first time I went to a man for the massage.  I'm sold, he did an awesome job.

    Birdie, I'm very jealous.  I'm having happy hour by myself right now. 

    hc- I hate grocery shopping.  And when I go there and try to take me time and relax I end up buying many unnecessary things. 

    KJB- Your next vacation is an Alaskan cruise in May.  End of story.

    i think grocery shopping is one of my least favorite things to do.  I have to go starving or i will buy nothing.  last time i went, i bought eggs, 1 pack of shredded cheese and dark chocolate bars for H. that was after we had been on vacation for 2 weeks.

    Ha H's "thanksgiving gift" was some workout clothes getting mailed to him.  I have to send him packages constantly because he keeps thinking of things he needs and he can't get them.  Now I have to send him a sleeping bag.

    dnb - does that leave out of seattle?  i do have a free SW flight, and if me friend doesn't get this vegas bachelorette party planned soon, i'm going to be forced to use it for something else.

    We haven't shopped in a couple of weeks, and we also need to do the Thanksgiving shopping since Thanksgiving is at our house.  And yes, I am a bitch because I'm making him go with me.  He's usually pretty cool about it though.

    He works at Albertson's, but his store is about 20 minutes from our house, and the much less expensive store (WinCo, it's local) is 5 minutes from the house.  Even with his discount it's cheaper for us to shop at WinCo.  Sad, huh?

    I had one of my co-workers tell me that if I wanted Christmas off he'd gladly take my shift so I could be with my family.  I'm sorry, but time and a half for sitting at a computer on a holiday that I don't celebrate anyway?  Why would I give that up?
