This is kind of a love fest for the wonderful ladies on this board!  Especially with me moving here from NE and knowing nothing my wedding would not be what it is shaping out to be without you guys.  I would not have my amazing photogs without you guys or a DJ I am so looking forward to working with.  Also, I booked my appointments with Becky and seriously just talking to her made me happy!!  This board is full of so many hidden treasures that you will never find in magazine!  Thanks to all of you who have helped me!

    I love love-fests!!!

    I agree... I stumbled upon this board on accident and I am SO glad that I did.  I feel like my wedding wouldn't be half as cool as (I think) it's going to be!!  This board has been my best friend throughout this whole process!!

    Bobbileigh - we're almost to the 4 month mark!!!!!

    I know I was stuck in traffic tonight after speaking with Becky and just thinking about all the wonderful parts of my wedding that wouldnt be there without this board and the ladies on it.

    I know!! I cant beleive how close it is getting it is soo crazy how time has flown by.

    I agree Bobbileigh, very well said! This board is such a huge help and it is so nice to be able to go through this process with other people who are also going through it or have gone through it. 

    Plus I think this is pretty much the best board on all of the knot. Not that I'm biased or anything but, yeah!

    Since I am still losing a good amount of weight we have decided to wait until March 14th.  I was worried that would put her in a rush but she was worried I would be stressed but from all the wonderful reviews I fully trust her.

    I'm going January 15th but I told her that there's no rush. I want it back by the end of February... she was such a doll though!

    I will get mine back about 2 weeks before the wedding...which I am okay with I still have about 30 pounds to lose so I am more than happy with waiting until as late as we can and I cannot wait to meet her she seems simply wonderful even over the phone.

    I agree!  I got EVERY vendor (DJ/photog/florist/cake/Becky) from a rec from this board and they were all fantastic.  I wish I knew which Knottie encouraged me to call Lynn even though I was afraid she was out of my budget.  Just all the knowledge I gained here and from looking at bios on the other boards was invaluable.  That's why I love to see bios and worked so hard on my own.  Plus, I just like looking at them, hee!

    I totally agree, well said!!  This is a great resource for good stuff and good people/friends!  I am definitely appreciative that I have a place to gab about wedding stuff ALL the time!!  LOL  Tongue out

    While I didn't find my vendors through this board, it was still a great place to bounce ideas off of or just do a little venting about wedding drama (ILs).

    I agree - great board!  Tiffany even helped me with my dress.  She recommended a place I could try on dresses - to decide what shape I wanted - without the stress of having to buy right then.  My photographer was recommended by this board - I bought my candy buffet  and hair fascinator from knotties, etc!

    ETA: And I pretty much copied stephiehall's hair (the idea anyway), as well as her candy boxes and hankerchief ideas.  Thanks stephiehall.

    I completely agree... and I'm always happy to share the love!!

    I got my photographer & cake vendors from here this board, as well as copied Stephie's candy box idea too.  In fact, I got the candy buffet idea from the board too.

    When I first started planning back in the summer, I had no clue how many vendors there are in DFW. Not just places but cakes, photographers, etc!!! It's like a whole new world for weddings!!! :)

    I agree with Brooke, DFW Knotties are the best board/girls!!! :)

    Hee, glad to know my candy boxes are so famous!  I have actually been contacted alot about my hair off the boards.  I owe that one to the girl who helped me with my veil at AA--she put the whole thing together.

    Yes, I agree with everyone else.  I came to this board about halway through my planning process with most of my vendors already booked, but I did get my DJ recommendation (Glenn Roush) from this board and he wound up being my FAVORITE vendor of them all!!
