Wedding Planner Cost

Is $629 a good price for a rehearsal/day of wedding planner?? This is what the package includes:

• Consultation with the bride and groom
• Meeting with the couple one month prior to wedding
• Confirm delivery locations, times, and final arrangements with all
vendors
• Coordination of the ceremony rehearsal
• Final collection of wedding items at rehearsal to be set up on wedding
day, such as candles, photographs, guest books, wedding favors, toasting
glasses, serving sets, programs, seating cards, table numbers, etc.
• Customized wedding day itinerary to be distributed to all vendors
• Itemized to-do list with regular check-ins & follow-up
• Main point of contact for all vendors and service providers
• Distribution of final vendor payments and gratuities
• Supervision and assistance with ceremony and reception setup and
decoration
• Coordination of ceremony processional, recessional, and receiving line
• Meet, greet and direct vendors on the wedding day
• Meet, greet and direct guests on the wedding day
• Collection and transportation of ceremony décor and accessories to
reception
• Unlimited phone, email and text message correspondence
• Up to two in-person/on-location meetings
• Etiquette advisement
• At least one assistant on the day of

    I paid 500 for something similar, but yours includes way more. I would say it's a good deal!

    Sounds very fair. I interviewed countless DOC's. The costs ranged from $550 to over $5000 just for day of services!!! I think anything under $1000 is pretty good for a planner. Ours included all of the same things yours does, and the package was $850.

    We spent $500 for a DOC that did essentially the things yours is offering.  I interviewed a few different DOCs and they were all around $500.  I don't think that number is far off, plus, when I booked mine, it was almost a year and a half ago.
