Sixth Anniversary 100 Comments 25 Love Its Name Dropper
in African American Weddings
So excited for our tasting tomorrow. The theme of our wedding is Southern Sophistication and one of the main ways that I want to carry out our theme is in the menu. Think: Upscale Southern Comfort food. Here's what we're going to be trying

Appetizers
Gumbo shooters
Catfish sliders
Deviled Eggs
Shrimp & Grits
Entrees
Fried chicken
chicken & dumplings
smothered chicken
Sides
Southern squash stuffing
Macaroni & cheese
Sweet potato casserole

This guy comes highly reccommended, lets just hope that he can pull off this menu or I will be back to square one.

    lolz. Yes, we are also going to do a carving station of beef tenderloin. I know that it isn't exactly "southern" but I wanted to have another option.
