DH might as well treat me like a leper. Ever since Santa brought him call of duty on xbox, he's been MIA from the bedroom until midnight or later!

Ditto, except it is a diff game. And I think it is from game fly, but yea since new years day! AND he is currently curing it out as we 'speak'. So annoying.

I think he's upstairs playing Angry Birds on his IPhone. I hate that game and the IPhone in general. I feel like technology has taken away the need to think!

I just hate whenever I'm trying to think of something, he breaks out the phone and looks it up! I like using my brain! He's trying to talk me into getting one but I don't know. My whole fam is on Verizon so I like the free minutes to call my mom whenver I want to.

What do u think about the antibiotics for pink eye? I can't call out tomorrow but I feel like as soon as a parent sees me, they're going to swoop up their kid to keep them away from me.

Yea I wouldn't go. Pink Eye is really really contagious. The kid would not come to day care tomorrow if they had pink eye. so you should not go either.

Welp, I've always had the xbox...and Santa was really really thinking twice about getting the COD game because I knew it would create a monster. I'm kickin myself in the butt every minute. I'm already to the point where he has to have a curfew for it or he'll play FOREVER. And then he has the nerve to ask hey babe, can I get the golden eye game for wii? Like he doesn't spend enough time on xbox as it is. I'm literally sitting on our chaise surfin' the web while watching him play the game. It's LOADS of fun ;o)

DH always whips out the phone to look something up...I know how you feel Stacy!

Yeah, super contagious. I wouldn't go either. I think you need to be on the antibotic for like 24 to 48 hours, no? I saw a kid the other day in target with pink eye and I was like petrified thinking my kids were going to catch it too...nasty stuff going around lately.

Stacy, it is annoying! I call him the google monster...I'll actually sit in thought and try to remember for the life of me whatever it is that I'm trying to remember or think of. And I'll probably go the entire day until it hits me. Whereas, DH has created this I'm gonna prove you wrong and look on google...which half the time he's wrong anyways ha!

Stacy- your boss is a dumb F. Anybody would think its a bad idea to bring you to work.... the parents might get pissed off seeing your eye all messed up! I would just call out, you could care less to get fired anyways right haha.

Childcare is so strict with parents saying if your child is sick that they must stay home...I would think that the same rules would apply for the staff. Otherwise, it kind of defeats the purpose of having sick kids stay home. Right? I know I would be an upset parent if I found out staff had something infectious and brought it to work to spread around the kids. Sick kids are no fun...whether it's a cold or pink eye, it's just no fun.

hahaha, DH has the same prove you wrong look!!!

Our electricity went out during the snowstorm a couple of weeks ago and he broke out the phone and started playing games!!! If he hadn't had that, we would have played board games or something and actually would have had some quality time.
I literally sat there and looked at the wall while he was playing games.

If it is viral pink eye you are contagious up to 24 hours after you start an antibiotic. If it is just bacterial pink eye you are not contagious, but parents most likely will not know that. I would go see a doctor and not go into work.

I heard about the new version coming out but they say it has a smaller screen and I actually like the size of this screen as is. I can't complain about it...been pretty awesome. I mainly use it as an e-reader...I had told DH I wanted the nook and this is what I got.

Stacy- I've had pinkeye 10-12 times. Trust me when I say that it is uber contagious. You can actually get a drs note to not go in, especially around children. I was told by my eye dr that untreated, it can cause blindness. (I'll check that on my iPhone... j/k) If I brought DD to daycare/school and the teacher or helper had pink eye? DD would be leaving with me. You have to be on antibiotics for at least 24 hours, and that varies between antibiotics. Some are 48 hrs. Don't chance it. Your boss is a fvcker. No offense...
