Used to see the promos while watching reruns of Gilmore Girls and kind of wanted to watch the show. Any episodes online/Netflix, do you know?
I haven't seen this week's new episode yet, but I did read all the books. I think the show's finally starting to get better, but it doesn't seem as creepy as it did at the beginning.
Honestly, I felt like the book series just dragged on and on for way too long, but at the same time I was dying (nice pun right?) to know the truth behind the mystery so I kept reading. I do think they're better than the TV show, and they changed a lot of small details in the TV show that really bug me because they were important to the book series plot.
Books are almost always better than whatever movie or TV show they inspire (again, Twilight is an exception).
It makes me glad I didn't know about the books before I started watching the TV show. Having read the books would probably ruin it. I now have to resist the temptation to read them in order to find out how it ends before the show gets there.

Ah, ok, thanks. I was hoping for a little 'Flix action. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />
The first couple episodes had some really great, creepy parts. Now it just reminds me of a wannabe Gossip Girl, and I'm getting bored of that too.
Do read the books though. I'm curious to see if they're going to keep the same plot line or change it up. If they change it and do it well, I won't mind.
