Hangovers go here.

Re: Hangovers go here.

  • It was a good near years but definitely a boring one. We went out to dinner with some of our friends from our old jobs which was a blast. They brought one of their friends too who has the best British accent I have ever heard. And he does not look Brit at all so when he started speaking it was very confusing for a second. Her baby was being a total brat though but thats ok, we practically had the restaurant to ourselves.
Then we went back to her place for some rum and watching the ball drop. Right now she is babysitting a $3000 cat, holy eff...He's a Bengal, 8 months old and a very lean 14 pounds. He is going to be one big boy when he finishes growing. He is soooo gorgeous though.

Sorry to post and run but I'm off to my parents, have a great day everyone!
  • I love looking at pics of bengal cats, they're so cool looking.
  • I have a bit of a headache, but none of the other hangovery stuff. I get headaches often, so who knows what caused it. We were boring. We made dinner, I had a bottle of wine and he drank 99 Bananas and Orange Crush (yuck), we watched The Hangover, popped the champagne at 11:50, and were in bed at 1.

  • Well hello, and happy 2010 ladies! Glad to hear everyone had a relatively good time last night.

H and I stayed home had a great time. Homemade pizzas (seafood and pepperoni), chocolate and wine (ugh, I drank at least a bottle all on my own and I'm not a drinker). We played Mario Wii and Beatles Rock Band, which apparently we are much better at while drunk (simulaneous 100%, woo hoo)! Then we watched a 30 Rock marathon and drank every time someone said "Liz" or "Lemon." It happens more than you'd think on that show. H went to bed right after midnight, but I stayed up til about 2am to wait for the spinning to stop. I actually feel fine today, just a bit sluggish and lazy.

  • Beatles we played BRB lastnight too!! My husband thought it would be a great idea for me to sing "oh darling" half in the bag, he didnt know what song it is (he "knows" the songs but only to hear them). My singing was atrociously loud but I still got 100%! He was a bit pissed I wasted money on Her Magesty though, I thought it was well worth the 100 points just to see his reaction at how short it is.
  • Dammit, sorry I missed your rendition of "Oh! Darling." I'm sure you rocked it, congrats on the 100%! Wish you could have been here, we needed a lead singer. H said he would sing and then pussed out, plus it was late and our apartment building has a strict noise policy.

That's funny about "Her Majesty." We played it too, and H was like WTF was that? He was on bass and only had one note total, so at least he got to brag about another 100%.

  • Hahah Adam had just commented on another song being short, so I played her majesty to show him what short really was. It was so fun playing some new songs though. He only let me play FIVE though and it was so hard to choose. I always sing so I would have made the perfect addition to your party, if you could handle my singing voice. My husband always pusses out on singing too.
  • Aw, he's probably intimidated by your singing prowess. He's like the Ringo to your Paul. Shame on him for putting a limit on your songs! We should start our own fake band, then we can play all we want with no limitations or pussed out singers.

  • He DOES have a big nose like ringo and im adorible and cute like paul, so it makes perfect sense!

I would love it if we had our own band. I would like to play the cowbell though, and the tambourine.
  • Ha! More cowbell! You can only play the tambourine if you do the Davy Jones moves though.

Wonderful. Went to dinner at one of our favorite Latin style restaurants. Hung out with several great friends (one of whom's birthday is today), rolled home at 4:30am, stumbled out of bed around noon to watch the Winter Classic. Ate some nachos to combat the hangover. Feeling okay. Might see a movie later.

  • Good Afternoon.  I was fortunately not hung over at all this morning, but I was still stuffed from a fabulous dinner we had last night.  It was so yummy.  I can't wait to go back.  We went out to the club after which was surprisingly NOT over crowded and an overall nice time.

2010 New year start has so far been a success.

    Happy New Year everyone.

Wow I think we're twins! Thats exactly what FI and I did last night. We usually go out, but I convinced him to stay in this year.

  • Not hungover, but I have been pretty lazy today. We ended up actually only having 2 friends over, and while I felt lame since I think they expected more of a party, I ended up having a really good time since I hadn't seen them in a long time. Also I drank a lot.

  • Mine was pretty good.  Mike worked so we didn't get to have our new year's kiss til about 130.  I drank a lot of wine and then a lot of champagne.  I was just at a good friends house and there was about 10 of us.

I was very ill this morning.  Plus I have a cold, so I had no voice since I decided it would be a good idea to smoke 15 cigarettes last night.

It's 11.18pm and I'm doing much better now.  I had mcdonald's for lunch and that made me feel better instantly.  Funny how when I eat it sober/not hungover it makes me sick, but when I'm sick it makes me better.
