LDY, that is my issue. I have only had one job and don't know what I would do if I quit it. I've been there just over 8 years. Also it would really be financially detrimental to leave because I wouldn't come close to earning what I earn now with a new job.

Bay, TBH, the only reason I have a smartphone is because my work pays for it. Otherwise, I'm not sure the data plan would be worth it to me. Or at least it wouldn't have been before I was used to having it.

Part of me wants to get a smartphone, but 1) I can't justify the expense right now and 2) I'm online too damn much as it is, and 3) I can't upgrade my phone until October without paying an arm and a leg.

I have a Samsung Fascinate, so it's a Droid. It's okay. I mainly wanted it for ridiculous, why-am-I-looking-at-this apps, so that's what I do with it. It's a bitch to make calls on, though. I always end up hanging up on people unless I hold it just so.

One of my friends knew I was having a crappy time with this whole not being able to move thing so she surprised me by sending me one of those customized chocolate bars from here <---Clicky

It's white chocolate with cinnamon toast crunch and edible gold flakes. I haven't tried it yet, but man am I going to devour it.

Haha. I am actually pretty good at this. This is the part where you embellish a bit. Interviewing at McDonald's? You want to work there because you loved it when you mom took you there as a kid, and want to be part of the world's largest fast-food restaurant. Some local mom-and-pop restaurant? Because you love their food and want to work in a family environment. A giant bank that forecloses on people? Because you have always been interested in banking and the mortgage market, and you feel like this bank is really turning the corner after a few rough years to become a leader in the industry. yadda yadda.

HA, Nates you crack my shiit right up.

I'm always so nervous in interviews. I mean, I'll psych myself out and say "They will totally want you!!" but then I get in there and stammer and say stuff i shouldn't say. In the interview with my current job i told him I was asked to be a drug mule for someone at the radio station and my boss asked me how my pusssy was and that waws why I wawnted to change jobs.

probably not a smart move.

I really hate going for interviews. I'm also not looking forward to applying to "grown up" jobs. I graduate in June and I really don't see how me waitressing, making pizzas or working in grocery stores is going to get me a government job. The guy I talked to at the career fair told me that experience isn't necessary but I'm having a hard time believing that.
