Let me go back in my memory. You said that he was dragging his feet on setting a date for the wedding.

Some men will give a lady a ring to shut her up from nagging about a ring, but will drag out the engagement because he isn't really ready yet. Child or not. It seems like he wanted to get married once he knew there was a baby coming. Maybe that sped him up, but maybe he still wasn't ready, hence the dragging of the feet.

Weren't you the one that said he wouldn't set a firm date?

Now, that might not be your man, but I gave my 2 cents. You do know that's what we do here, right?

and if this person *does* care this much, as a lurker, the regulars have no clue who it is. no one is going to care about your opinion on the subject.

I don't care, I just find it so hypocritical that people get judged here only when they are new. So I use her as a point. I also said I don't care what anyone thinks of me or my situation. I use what Nola said to me as an example of what happens to the new people when they post here and how regulars get a pass, regardless of what they post.

I also haven't seen a "flaming" of a new person in quite a while. I've seen people get solid advice and flounce when it's not the validation they wanted, but I don't think I've seen an actual, bare-knuckled, knock-down drag-out flaming since - well, maybe since Carrann left, yeah?

And I'm shocked you liked the book. Waiting for Josephine's comeuppance, are you? Spoiler alert: it doesn't happen.

We know a little more personal history and can make a more informed comment than someone who comes on here and gives us 200 words on who they are. I'm inclined to believe Dixie's story because I've got several years of posting memory on her in addition to off board discussion. Actually I am in excellent shape, tattoos on fat people look terrible. You all do realize that there is a search function and all it takes is a simple phrase or user name to find anything that anyone has posted. Dixie is TG who is also TT, who is the girl with the douche husband and she got ragged on all the time. But then she had something terrible happen and noe she gets to walk around judge free.
