help- directions to oakland

I am working on directions for our invitations.... We are getting married at Bellefield Presbyterian Church which is about a block away from the PAA and soldiers and sailors.  The directions I made are way too long and I am having a hard time condensing them.  Would anyone getting married in that area be willing to share their directions with me?  I am really struggling with this and appreciate your help!

Hi! My wedding is at the Carnegie Museum in Oakland and the ceremony is at St. Paul's - I went on Pitt's website and got the directions directly from there and modified them to end at the Museum. Here is what I used:

By car ... from the East: Cars traveling from the east via the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) should take Exit 57 to I-376 West. From I-376 (the "Parkway East") take the "University of Pittsburgh/Oakland/Route 885 North" exit (Exit 3B) onto Bates Street. Stay on Bates until it ends at Bouquet Street, approximately eight-tenths of a mile. Turn left onto Bouquet, then right at the first light onto Forbes Avenue.

... from the West: Cars traveling from the west via the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) should take Exit 28 (Cranberry) and follow I-79 South to I-279 South. Follow I-279 to the "Veteran's Bridge" exit, then exit onto I-579 South. Proceed on I-579 to the "Oakland/Monroeville" exit, and then exit onto the Boulevard of the Allies. Continue on the Boulevard of the Allies for about 1 mile until to see the "Forbes Avenue" exit on your right. Forbes Avenue then leads right into the Pitt campus.

... from the North: Take I-79 South to I-279 South. (You exit to the left off I-79.) Follow I-279 until the "Veteran's Bridge" exit onto I-579 South. Proceed on I-579 to the "Oakland/Monroeville" exit onto the Boulevard of the Allies. Continue on the Boulevard of the Allies for about 1 mile until to see the "Forbes Avenue" exit on your right. Forbes Avenue then leads right into the Pitt campus.

... from the South, including Pittsburgh International Airport: Follow I-79 North to the exit for I-279 North. Take I-279 through the Fort Pitt Tunnels and across the bridge to the I-376 Monroeville Exit (first exit on the right). Follow I-376 to the "Forbes Avenue-Oakland" exit. Forbes Avenue leads right into the Pitt campus.

Although, I talked to my dad and he said there is construction on Bates and it is currently closed, so here are the modified directions from my dad 'From East'

From the Turnpike, take 376, and take  Bates Street exit on Right. At end of exit, bare Right up Bates Street. At the first light on Bates make a Right on the Boulevard of Allies. In half mile take  Right exit into Schenley Park bare  and across Panther Hollow Bridge. At Stop Sign near Phipps Conservatory make a Left. In half mile, by Carnegie Library make Right at light. Make Right at next light onto Forbes Ave. Make next Left onto Bellfield Ave. Make Next Right onto Fifth Ave. St Paul's Cathedral on your Left.

I have my actual direction card at home I can PM you after work if you are interested!
