Morning!

Re: Morning!

  • OWN I'm jealous that you are doing your album already.  I really want my pics back but I guess I have to wait another week.  Are you doing a traditional album?  Scrapbooking something?

  • Andy, I'm trying to do a printed book through kodakgallery.com.  You can just choose and arrange the photos in an album, and they're printed right on the page.

I love my photos, but there are a few key pictures that are missing and I'm not sure what to do - I think I'll ask some of our friends who had cameras if they got them.  For example, the only picture of Mark walking his mom down the aisle is shot  from the back, there are no pictures of my daughter or my son walking down, and no picture of me walking down the aisle.

One of Mark's nieces got what look like okay shots of him and his mom and my kids, but when I uploaded them to kodakgallery, it indicated that the shots were of poor resolution and wouldn't look right printed.  So, poop.  Hopefully someone with a better camera got the same pictures.

I hope you get your pics soon - what are you planning to do?

  • So I'm probably going to do something similar for my parents and FIL but I do kinda want to make a scrapbook - even though it seems old ladyish to my friends.

Your pics are great I'm sure it will be awesome.

  • I love scrapbooks!  I never got into it because I have zero crafting skills, but I think they are awesome.  Then again, I am an old lady.
  • Morning everyone. I think I'm still asleep. We got in late last night from my dad's, then H insisted on watching The Unborn. Because I knew it would give me nightmares, I had to watch something funny after so we watched Night at the Museum 2. And I still had nightmares.

But it was a great visit with family. We had my brother's going-away party with about 20 family members and it all ended with silly string, my dad trying to shove my brother in the pool and going over himself (with a chair, no less), brother snapping H with a wet towel, and H wrestling him to the floor, dragging him through the house by his arm, and both falling into the pool. Then little brother's girlfriend got thrown in for good measure.

My aunt took a pic of us that I'm debating making my sig. I love the look of it, but can't decide if it's too blurry or not.
  • I did a snapfish book with our pictures. I gave one to my parents, one to his and we kept one for us. It's my most favorite thing from the wedding.
  • Hi guys, I'm trying to get the energy to do what I need to do today. I woke up for the second day in a row feeling nauseous (don't even think it!) and eating breakfast didn't help. I need to work out but I don't know if I have it in me. I didn't do anything exercise wise yesterday or the day before either. I just feel like all of my muscles were pulled through a vice and then pounded on. I've been doing a lot of strength training lately but geez, it shouldn't affect me this badly!

Own, I had good luck with getting photos from friends. All of our cake cutting shots were from behind or at a weird angle, but one of my friends got it perfectly!
  • I love making photo albums, I use Shutterfly.  I can't wait to finish our e-pic album...it's going to be so cool.  OWN, I oooh and aww every time I just see your sig.  The lighting really makes your pictures so beautiful!  :)

Me too, I love scrapbooks. I did that with our wedding pictures. I got an album from Walmart with a nature theme, and lots of stickers with flowers and random words. then I put them together in order from the engagement to the honeymoon using bits and pieces from each (like some of the tool, ribbons, my hair clip, etc).

I thought it would be too busy but I love it.

I'm excited to do our scrapbook. I love crafts. I'm not very creative, but I'm pretty resourceful, so if I see something I can usually replicate it fairly well.

    Edited to be less lame.
  • yeah I'm kinda crafty so I'm excited about starting it.  I kinda want to do one for my sister for her wedding as well.
