    It was cooked squid so typically it was just smelly and gross but didn't cause any damages since ice skates could cut threw it.

    That just seems so strange to me that certain words are 100% off limits just because someone, somewhere is going to claim "RACIST!".

    Again, im not really talking about that betch lady who sent the email.  I am sure that she meant it in a racist way, but to say that people cannot say "He is as dumb as a monkey" just because he is black makes zero sense to me.

    And Blue, I don't think anyone was arguing that you can't say that, I think the argument was the semantics of whether or not that email had racist connotations, and why.

    Here it is :
    I am coming out of the republician closet.
    I am however not some anti anything person. I am more of a fiscial conservative. do I like Obama... no... did I vote for him no. Am I glad he is in office and not Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi, ABSOFREAKINLOUTLY. Not because he might not have been not born here, or anything like that. His values are not my values but I have respect for him as a man and as a leader of our country. I am not going around saying HE IS NOT MY PRESIDENT like democrats did with Bush, did I like Bush... nope.
    I am a member of the young republicans club, and DAR. But i do not shove my ideals down others peoples throats.
    If Chris Christie Ran for president.... I would probably join his campaign, ( those of you in the NJEA do not put a bounty on my head please) He has taken alot of fluff out of NJ. I do not think we have strong republicians or Democrats right now.
    Oh and I watch Fox news ......   (RUNNING away now)....

    Blue- I see what you are saying, but you can't erase the history of a word. This discussion is part of the reason I love Dave Chappelle and the first season of the cartoon The Boondocks so much, they make light of the confusing double standards that end up dividing black and white people. They both ask the question, "Wait a minute, why are things this way? Is it helping or hurting?"
