A Nice Butterfly Story

In the wake of Butterflygate, I thought I'd share my own wedding butterfly experience:

We got married outdoors in a beautiful garden.  Before the ceremony, I noticed a couple of butterflies around, and I thought it was really pretty and didn't think anything more of it, forgetting in all the excitement that my MOH is dealthy afraid of butterflies.  So ,when one came to fly around us during the ceremony, she was absolutely freaking out inside!  She did an amazing job of holding it together, but in the video you can see her looking a little panicked and then totally paranoid after it flew away, like "Where is that mothereffer?!?!".  It's pretty funny in retrospect, and she was such a trooper for me that day :)

Also, after the ceremony, a few people asked us if we'd done any sort of release, when we said we hadn't, commented that they thought the butterfly was my grandma, watching over us that day.  It was really sweet.

haha! That would totally be me! I hate anything that flies! My first thought when I saw this post was "here we go again.." but that was cute! Good job making that whole mess of a post a little lighter!

    That's a very sweet story.

I also really dislike butterflies, and moths. Blech! I would be flipping out at a wedding butterfly release.

Great story, they say the ones that have past will all ways make it back to significant events.
