And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

  • Obviously, the South Florida gang skipped the first page and maybe part of the second when ALL THOSE recommendations were made to the OP.

Oh wait - they were all right, because they used the word sweetie, is that it?

  • OP is either a maniacal forum genius and the most successful troll in forum history, or posted asking for advice without knowing what the word "snarky" means at the title of the board.

Since I believe in supporting evil genius women and their eventual take-over of our planet, I will presume to indulge in the former explanation rather than the latter, despite Occam's Razor dictating otherwise.

Well that's just dumb, isn't it?  If you don't understand the terms in the title of a forum why would you chose to post there?  You're not making any sense.

Sun, in this case I'm guessing it's because Ms. Tomato was being a wee bit pretentious in her verbiage. ;) I mean really, who talks like that while arguing on an internet wedding message board? Occam's Razor? Get over yourself.

Honestly Sun, I'm insulted you think so little of my intelligence.  Maybe I should have made my point more clear.  I'm not willing to give OP the benefit of the doubt here.  AT's suggestion that OP did not understand the title of the board is more likely to be true than some half-cocked story that she's a troll just trying to stir up drama.

  • Beatles, she referenced a Bud Light commercial at the end (or was it Coors? It was some beer commercial), which makes up for the Occam's Razor reference. It's all about balance.

    Also my point!

Edit to say it was a Bud Light commercial.

Well clearly I need to be watching more tv then. ;)

I wonder if Sun got the Bud Light reference though.

  • Occam's Razor is pretentious? I hear it all the time in day to day speech among friends/family/co workers. Every high school kid is taught what it means. I figured it was a universally known term.

Oh well. Wasn't my intent to go over people's heads. Humor isn't funny if no one gets it. Esta bien.

Tomato, I was really responding more to Sun's assertion that B was "confused" by high-brow humor. Now that I know the Occam's Razor part was a commercial reference, I no longer see your post in the same way. I do apologize for that. Before I knew about the commercial, your whole post in general seemed to use overly flowery language given the context. That's all. You're clearly smart, we get it, you know? ;)

I really do have to run to work now, but I will check back into this discussion later tonight. Good day ladies!
