For mine, we're doing a bike-n-bite tour around my city.  We'll get to ride our bikes to different areas and eat ethnic foods based on who settled there back in the day.

Another friend's party involved us all going to see "Rent."  It was great!

I'm trying hard as I can NOT to have strippers. It's hard to plan for me because I'm not a partier OR a spa day girl. I'm hoping for something cool like paintball or lazer tag or even a dance class

Our canoe/raft trip is a combined bach party for my fiance and I. =) We have the same group of friends, and it will be a blast!

do what you like for your party...it is your party...your girls should asks you what you are comfortable with and that is what you do for the party...you can do karaoke, and the cooking thing sounds fun.  How about a mystery dinner theater, or a dance class like salsa or belly dancing.

    Good luck.

We're planning to go to Dave & Busters for my B.P. I've never been a clubbing type girl so I wanted something chill.  We can have dinner and play games and drink (because we are all over 21) but people who don't want to drink won't have to but still be able to have fun.

I had a great time at a friends bachelorette party that centered on a day of kayaking down a river.  It was a gorgeous location and though most were experienced at kayaking or canoing, we did have a few newbies who, while in the process of learning provided us with some very memorable moments!

My MOH and little sister (23), planned a wild party for another sister and I made it clear that I and many of my friends wouldn't be up for that when it was my turn.  She understands this and has planned a fun evening that she insists I'll enjoy.  I don't know many details, but I believe it involves what she calls a "destination" party, where the location will be kept secret from all but one or two attendees and revealed to the rest of us through a scavenger hunt that will take us all around my hometown and county.  Once we arrive, I'm sure it'll be something like a "big girl" pajama party.

    Good Luck and Happy Planning

Scavenger hunt!!! have 2 teams bride team and groom team make flat stanley bride and grooms with your faces on them and then have a scavenger hunt all over town where pictures of the team with their respective flat stanley are in. 1 might be have a random person propose 2 you get 5 random people to write advice to the B and G and landmarks around the city ours was in Philadelphia so one of the clues led to Love park. then make a scrap book of the day and hav it on display at the reception or a shower or just give it to the bride as a reminder of the day. You can also have a nice dinner after where you can all talk and laugh about the day. ours was AWESOME!!!!!

I just had my bachelorette and we all got wakeboarding lessons and hung out at the beach. I suggest finding an activity everyone will enjoy and just doing it together. Girls day!

I soo struggled with my MOH over this!! She wants a night on the town bar-hopping with the oh-so-hilarious sex toys and what not. When I confronter her about it the excuse was centered around how its a party for your LAST NIGHT AS A BACHELORETTE.........but we've been dating for over four years! If That was something I needed---I pry wouldn't be in the relationship!!! I want to spend the rest of my life with my FI and don't want to get wasted and have something happen that could be regrettable.

I FINALLY got her convinced into just having a dinner with the girls.......thats all I want......and it should be what I want right? It shouldn't be this difficult!!!

You need to make sure that its something you want and you find enjoyable...because its OUR day, OUR party, and OUR wedding---as Brides!! If they want a barhoppin, sex scene, they can have that at THEIR party! Gloves have to come off at some point....lol

for my bachelorette party... we rented a vacation home on a lake for $500 for the weekend. I invited 10 girls and we each paid $50 for the entire weekend. the house came with a jet ski and water floaties!! It was a blast!! We cooked, had drinks, talked and told stories. We rode the jet ski and enjoyed the lake. It was great fun. My daughter who is 18 came along and she did not seem bored one bit!!

For one that I planned a few months ago we had massages in the morning followed by lunch. Then we all went a saw a movie. Those of us who were 21 went out to a country bar that night for some line dancing. It was great because  memebers of all different ages were able to join in for at least most of the day.

I'm in the same boat (as well as my FI). One of my BM will only be 16 (FI niece) and her mom is a MOH. I know her mom wants to go ALL OUT for the bachelorette party (drinking, strippers, etc) which I don't have a problem with cause I know her hubby (FI brother and BM) will be doing the same - in fact they will be competing on who has the best bachelor/bachelorete party! Anyways....I have 2 MOHs so I politely asked them that if one wants to plan the wild party, if the other could plan maybe a day of girl pampering at a spa. I really don't want my young one to miss out on the fun of hanging with the girls since she was very excited to be in the wedding party!
Regardless on what you do it sounds like everyone in the party will enjoy themselves - it's your party remember!!!!!
    Good luck!!!

Love the ideas here! Also hoping that I can find a way to do this...My soon to be 16 yr old daughter is in my wedding party, and the "penis party" really wouldn't be appropriate.
Being together makes the scary stuff not so scary. It makes everything seem a little safer...so we've decided to do something totally crazy - get married!

you could also hire an dancing group like hawaii dancing group and serve hawaiian food at Batchelorette party?

We went out for beers and karaoke for my bachelorette party. It was pretty low key and it was fun just to go out with my friends. Not all bachelorette parties have to be the drunken crazy night out with inflatable penises...as long as you and your friends have fun, that's all that should matter!!!  :)

I had mine on july 1st and it was myself, my MOH, 2 BMs and my mom. We all had our hair and make-up done by a pro and had a glamour photo shoot done then went out for dinner to a funky lounge it was simple and fun and we all have some great photos to remember it by!

I have no clue what my bridesmaids have in store for me but I know some ideas that have been thrown around are:

    A White Sox Game
Cruise out on the Lake (you can get 3 hour cruise tickets that include food and 2 drinks for around $75is a person so that those who want to drink can and those who can't can drink pop and dance on the dance floor)
    Shopping
    Spa
    Mani/Pedi

Just basically girls having fun.  We're all of age so we may go to a bar, but I highly doubt it since it's not really my thing but you never know.  Just give your BM's some ideas that you'd like for them to investigate in for you and go from there.  Going low key is just as great as having a big night out at bars all night.  Good luck!

I'm getting married in Nashville TN and my only BM are my future step daughters (who are 9 and 10). My best friend here in Charlotte, NC and I are going to a winery, going to get mani/pedi and staying at a hotel close to the winery to stay up late and watch lifetime movies and laugh till we cry. I can NOT wait :)

I am doing a weekend at a lakehouse. Rent a house on the lake for a couple of days... or you could even rent a house boat if you know anyone who knows how to drive a boat. That way yo can be out in the sun having fun, and those who want to drink can drink, and those who don't want to won't feel obligated.

I was recently a MOH of a wedding and because my friend was 1-conservative 2-has a thing against alcohol and 3-wanted her family (including in-laws) to attend I did a spa party with stations for different kinds of pampering-massage, mani, pedi, facials, etc and we had a private party room with snacks and drinks and everyone had fun doing the different stations and visiting between turns.  I had a great time and honestly thought it by far beat bar hopping-and i love to go drink!

For my sister's wedding, we went swimming, then came home and scrapbooked a "friendship" book for her, and each of us made 3-4 pages to put in it, then we got all dolled up and went out for a fancy girls-night dinner, came home, and made mixed drinks and sat around and jsut talked. It was fun, relaxing, meaningful, and we felt fine the next day! :)

We went camping for my party a couple weeks ago and it was perfect.  I could hear my friends, we had a few beers while we floated in the lake and, though I did end up receiving a "Pecker Ring Toss" game, everything was casual and relaxed and not, for lack of a better word, trashy.  I wouldn't do it any other way.

I'm actually having my sister's plan mine. I'm like everyone it seems here that doesn't do strippers, nor go bar hopping. I believe mine won't even have alcohol at it.  We're doing the pottery painting and ordering in fantastic Italian food from my favorite resturant. I can't wait for mine, plus it gives  me the excuss of not opening up my b-party gifts in front of the girls (my future mother-in law is going to be there...too awkward!).

Corks 'n Canvas!  Along with dinner before or after.  I'm pretty sure that is what we'll end up doing.  Could add in a some lingerie gifts, which you might actually use.  That can be your most "raunchy" moments...which is not raunchy at all.  Good luck.

For my bachelorette I had all the girls come out for a benefit for a friend who has cancer. I asked for donations instead of gifts. We had blast.

I'm not big on going out bar-hopping,definatly don't want a stripper, and also have people attendng my b-party who are under 21 or don't drink.  My siter (MOH) is planning a wine tasting tour.   NY's finger lakes are only an hour away with tons of great wineries.  We'll get a limo bus, lots of snacks, NA bevs and have a great time.  Alot of wineries produce grape juices that the younger ones can sample.  At some point on the tour we'll stop for a nice lunch/dinner.  If the partiers want to go out after they can and if people want to stay and hang at the end we'll figure something to do.  Can't wait.

Mine is going to be awesome...three words for you....DRAG....QUEEN...BINGO! If you live in metro Detroit I highly suggest it for any occasion...it is exactly what it sounds like...drag queens calling bingo! You can win all kinds of prizes/money and its all ages (if your under 18 you"cant play" because it's technically gambling but people come and just have friends collect their prizes for them). You can bring your own food/drinks( even ones of the alcoholic variety making it cheaper and more hilarious). So and brides out there looking for an awesome B-party 5fifteen in Royal Oak any Saturday night at 7!
